So a few years back i was curious how much the wicked clowns net worth is, it was said icp or violent j and shaggy have a net worth of 10 million. I checked it again today just out to see if there was any change. The clowns are now at a net worth of 30 million. This is a 3X jump in just a couple of years. The clowns have been around for 20+ years and are still a very much underground level or as much as their success will allow. They are now seen every where from their merch being seen in movies to cameos on hit shows such as tosh. What i am getting at is the clowns may have not "sold out", but with this much attention and noise being made, everything is going to change a slight bit. The overdone online infomercials, the merch now looks more polished and mass produced. Even seeing lo's in public isnt the same...at least to me the family era seems to have passed more than I'd like and we have entered the consumer era. This is a money driven country and now it seems J and Shaggs arent the only ones realizing that you can make money off the clowns and not be in Kiss or the circus. I guess what im saying is its not really J and Shaggs fault or over greedyness, but one things for sure theyre no longer or will ever be "riding in greyhounds just to get gatherings."
and P.S. im not saying they sold out, theres just more money being put into them now...let hope with the MDP some real UNDERGROUND FRESHNESS and not so much of the richey boy polished feel im fearing.

it would be nice if that website's people had hired a forensic accountant to reconstruct icps income by analyzing music sales, adding in attendance rates for a given number of annual shows, factoring in revenue from merchandise, adjusting for capital investment, overhead, etc...
but the truth is they pulled that number from their anus.
HOWEVER, i myself once sat around trying to calculate it. the result was on the order of $200,000 a year. to clarify, that meant i could mathematicly prove that they made between $20,000 and $2,000,000 that year. not very illuminating.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

i understand this all i was pointing out is there still a 3x growth…whatever the case is, its evident they are gaining popularity and also have a lot more money….are their videos or infomercials up to par on quality stanards with those mainstream names no…but if you have been down long enough its clear the change is drastic. icp merch or cameos on this many mainstream things would have never happened 15 years ago….its somewhat of what made ICP magically….it was the underdog story feel..now its getting into the more hey were the most hated band in the world with a world wide fan base and were gonna be on that popish bullshit we still rap about hating. i still like them i still enjoy their music and think they are still doing them…but look at any company that has made lots of money…it changed over time in order to fill the demand…thats all im saying they have adapted to their now high demand…weather theyre being poked fun at or honored ICP are house hold names and with that comes change

Mikey--With all due respect--that website is GARBAGE. Psy is a small business with about 30 employees. I've worked for them, and I also manage my own small company of comparable size with comparable revenue, and I'll say this: All the money goes right back into the business. There certainly ain't no 30 mil floating around. They're looking at about 10 mill gross per year, which really ain't a whole lot when you divvy things up between all your employees and all your overhead expenses (insurance, for one, hasta be through the fucking roof for any event these guys put on). Not to mention the nonstop court cases these guys have over bullshit. Am I saying they're poor? No. They live comfortably and work fucking HARD in order to do so. They bust their balls, and it's nonstop. Hard work pays off. But the millions they make go right back into the business, to give the fans what they want. Trust me. And you gon sit here and believe some celebnetworth.com and shit. smh. Why do you think Psy had its power turned off last week? lol. The plight of being a small business......

i just find it hard to believe there are mainstream celebrities up there with networths that seem pretty accurate...maybe they are way off, i understand how a small business works as im in the building blocks of starting my own company as well..but regardless their merch is EVERYWHERE...from media to pretty much any store that sells pop culture anything. this didnt used to happen and if the clowns arent seeing that money and having power turned off they need to talk whose getting that money bc stores and media report on and sell what sells...so someone is getting paid
they deserve every penny of 30 mil imo im just trying to get my point across w/ saying there is a new feel to icp that is all

I don't know. I'm a busy ass body piercer on the Mizzou campus full time. I'm around college kids I'd say 90 percent of the time and my day, and I don't hide the fact im a juggalo .. I'm usually sporting a hatchet man on something I'm wearing, and or my charm. And rarely ever do I have someone mention ICP to me in any way. Only thing I ever get is asking me what the hatchetman is ... And when I tell them Psychopathic records they usually don't know what I'm talking about. This is daily.
As far as them being seen more and more. Like the Tosh show the other night ... Even though they made the appearance I'd say most of the people that were in the audience at the taping didn't have a clue they'd just seen the actual insane clown posse .. They didn't cheer when they popped up on the video, which usually happens ... He'll even Koko B Ware got cheers on that show when tosh had the crying wrestling fan on there.

I noticed that too...same shit would probably happen if ICP actually showed up on SNL...people would laugh but it'd take most the audience a while before realizing its ACTUALLY them lol
