some of you might remember this.
during the hype-up for the whole lienda day fiasco, icp flirted with the notion of the ‘og juggalos club’. the idea was [and im not exaggerating], that since icp was about to get a whole bunch of brand new fans [when mtv played lets go all the way], the ‘og’ ninjas might feel like theyre bein set aside. thus, you signed up your email, and then they would have a list of the ‘ogs’ going forward. and theyd give you some minor hookups that i dont recall.
so what happened? the ninjas who had just found out about icp.com all signed up, the ‘ogs’ all complained, and the whole thing vanished in a couple days.
they really did that. seems kinda silly now, huh?
dunno why im bringin it up… my mind wanders, i guess.

Haha… I guess so. Felt like they really had their shit together 8-10 years ago, but lately I’m sitting here thinking I could do a better job running that warehouse myself.
probably could.
I’m guessing they need more people.
probably do.
Another reason I think this Prime Juggalo should happen: hire more fucking people and be more efficient.
i fail to see how paying icp ten bucks a month will help with this.
what it is, is nobody with marketable skills wants to work for psy. when they do, they immediately become disenchanted when they discover it isnt the dream job they thought it would be. or, when they see their paycheck.
now, ive never worked for them myself, but ive talked to plenty enough former employees to know there is at least some truth to that.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

theyve only got so much to work with, you know. and how is a non-juggalo supposed to be happier about working that job?
psychopathic aint best buy. they are one-half step above mom n pop. this is the problem, youre seeing them as far more capable than they are.
which again, is why we should be thankful they can accomplish anything big. by all rights, that isnt supposed to happen.
and yet, everybody is constantly demanding more and more of them.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

did they really sell 200K copies of death pop???
for some reason I would think they sold alot less even with the 3 different versions.

Yeah, that seems high, seeing as they only sold 41,000 the first week and sales usually drop drastically after that.

is that from just big box stores??or does that include orders from hatchetgear and sales from lives shows??
cause I bought 3 copies of that album white, red and black opening day at HMV and im sure most juggalos did the same so that means really only about 27,000 copies were sold if it was just a regular album.
also according to that list
NECRO – Murder Murder Kill Kill EP : 1,256

Well, the gathering every year seems to be coming closer and closer to being cancelled, their tours get postponed or cancelled, their web store is leaving much to be desired… I’m thankful they’ve accomplished a lot, but when everything lately is a huge problem/flop… you gotta be flexible and say, “Hey, this isn’t working.”
Psychopathic should never have to close its doors. They’ve come too far. Hatchet gear should be creating revenue, not eating it. In order to do that, someone’s gotta be on top of it. Update inventory, get new products designed/made, ship the products. I mean, what do they do? Make Jumpsteady do all that? And organize the Gathering and all sorts of behind the scenes shit we don’t know about? They’re stretching him too thin, he’s gonna snap.
The reason PSY worked better back in the day was because they were treating it like a growing entity. Now they’re treating it as a surviving entity. So much could be better if they invested in themselves like they used to.
Well said ninja, well said.
Don’t worry, it’s not just Jumpsteady working in the warehouse.A month ago they made a big deal about Billy Bill having to drive over to a loading dock,to pick up a skid of cd’s from Island, so they could ship out the boxsets 2 weeks late.
There are at least 2 (count em’) employees working hard to fill your Hatchetgear needs!![]()
