thats why I love horrocore so much, a good horrorcore song at least is a horrorstory, every line, every verse, advances that story.
but then, a prototypical horrorcore song is knife wife life, head bled dead, blah blah blah rhetoric. no story.
basicly the exact same shit, but instead of im-so-fly or im-so-gangsta, its im-so-scary.

i can even give a pass for not sounding ‘cool’, long as im entertained by it.
entertainment being the entire point. im not into anything for the image. nor even for simple coolness.

Wait what hahah
Maybe u guys cant identity with him dont make him stale.
I do t agree whats so ever with what u said

Right, I mean “cool” from a subjective viewpoint. Those kind of songs where you don’t necessarily find it entertaining, but you also don’t hit the skip button on your shuffle.

Whoa, hold up bruh. I didn’t say I didn’t like Tupac and don’t listen to him. I was just saying he’s regarded as one of the best rappers ever and he’s still just as guilty as most other rappers of what Jiggles was saying

I don’t even care about how complicated or well structured the rhyme-scheme is that much; it can improve a good song for me, but a complex, well structured rhyme scheme won’t take a bad song and make it awesome.
and yes, there’s a lot of shitty horrorcore out there, but there’s a ton of good shit as well. that’s why I said a *good* horrorcore song tells a story, and it does it very well based on the premise of each song being its own horror story.
I’m not saying “this is why horrorcore is better than regular rap” either. Notice I never said anything about rap, I’m saying a lot of music as a WHOLE is pretty fucking meaningless line-after-line of dribble that’s not connected at all. and for me? While it’s not a total deal breaker, it takes a lot more for me to like a song if they’re not actually saying anything in it.

Actually for the past decade or so, Its been a time honored tradition by Juggalos to bitch and moan about any new signee to Psychopathic.
I would have to disagree somewhat that Juggalos strictly only listen to Psy artist or labels inside the same circle. They may prefer certain music over others but everyone, including Juggalos, listen to different things homie.

it’s probably one of the better songs I’ve heard from them/him. But honestly, I can’t help but keep asking myself…
“What is the point of what they’re saying”? ya know..This is the problem with a lot of music, they’re using a lot of words to say..Nothing in particular except about how good they are…Like, what’s the point? what is their message, what’s the story of the song, why should anyone give a fuck about what they’re saying?

I dont see how Tupac us saying nothing or jusy saying how good he is.
Maybe repetitive and agian has more of an impact cuz u dont connect or identity with it. Like im all those tbings but black i can hear that shit all day. I can also hear about murder all day.
Not everyday. But u get my drift.
I didn’t say u didnt like tupac either. I just dont see how (not tupac) ur statement applies to what jiggles said. I mean past ur personal opinion i suppose.
I dont think Tupac had plenty of messages and substance and duality doesn’t even scratch the surface. Dude had many faces. Many different type of songs. That Tupac u mentioned is only one.
I just dont agree again.

I mean sure, they may bump some Ghost, or some Foo Fighters or shit. and hell, I know a handful of ninjas who were rocking swag tooth before Ouija was signed to PSY…
Maybe I should’ve just been more specific. A lot juggalos don’t dig any deeper into underground rap than the PSY sphere of influence. So with people like oujia macc, and lyte, I still don’t think it’s “only liking them because J says to like them” as it is not KNOWING about them until PSY or something adjacent to the label, someone already apart of “juggalo culture” fucks with them.

My thing kinda went in a chain reaction. First it was ICP, then the other psychopathic artists. I was looking for a few CDs on ebay and ran into Corpse Circus. That opened the door to Gein and Lo Key. It also revealed some of the copycat artists that were pretty good like Boo Clan, 6 Ninjahs, and Cid Voorheez. I gravitated to the the darker songs so I ended up on LSP, SKR, and Slaughtercore (which was Bloodshot, KGP, and friends), then that led to Komatose because he was on SKR. He has his own label called Cutthroat, and they do a lot of collabs with J.Hexx Project. He had his own label called Sever’d Nervez with Icepick Willie as people of that nature. And obviously Strange and Subnoize were always on my radar when I was with Psychopathic.
I was a metalhead before that and did the same thing. Mushroomhead to Slipknot to GodSmack to Behemoth to Nile to Gorgoroth to Six Feet Under to Cannibal Corpse. I always looked for artists that were similar but different enough from what I listened to at the time.
But to keep this thread relevant, I found Swag Toof completely randomly on youtube through suggested videos. My gut instinct was that Ouija was the more charismatic and talented of the 2, and then here we are.

I get what your saying but, Quija on Psychopathic is a lot less “out of the box” than the stuff he did with swagtooth. He’s more refined and tuned up to fit within the label. I am a fan of his now because he stepped his rap game up not because the machine is behind him. I hated the dude at first.
I can not stomach Swaggtooth, or even though they local to me, Suicide Boy$. I just don’t get the appeal of both groups. To each his own I guess.
