What does everyone think psy is gonna do now? I don't think twiztid leaving will be the down fall of psychopathic like everyone else seems to think. Y'all forget psy was around before twiztid was twiztid. This is good for both of them! ICP can now start looking for some fresh talent to sign I think they should sign King Gordy personally. and now twiztid is able to expand their music.

King gordy would have to change his name and J said himself he doesn't like being or saying crazy shit for the sake of saying crazy shit, that's why i think they probably will go down eventually, i don't want them to but i honestly don't see them signing any fresh new relevant acts.
TWIZTID will though.

Phrasing it like this makes it sound like Twiztid was holding Psy back from signing fresher, more relevant artists, which I don't believe was the case at all. I think J has just wanted to show props to people who HE likes, regardless of if Juggalos like them or not. Cold 187um got pelted with stuff during his GOTJ sets, yet there they go, hyping his album release as though Juggalos really care. Hopefully Twiztid will move on and bring us some real, true freshness and Psy can keep doing what they've been doing.

Who knows what the future truly holds. It is a shitty way to end the year for psychopathic (not many have noticed but this 2012 marks 20 years psychopathic's been in business).
What will happen?
Psychopathic: They'll survive. Blaze & ABK will most likely leave as well to roll with Twiztid since they're old homies from high school leaving the only artists left on psychopathic to be Zug Izland, Vanilla Ice, Jumpsteady, and their flagship artist ICP.
Twiztid: With alot of the orders being made out for NYE5 being sent out from Purple Hash Productions. I'm pretty sure in 2013 Twiztid plans to start their own label and are possibly looking at the decent independent distributors out there (RED, Select-O-Hits, E1, ADA, Epitaph, Redeye, Fontana, Babygrande, Fat Beats, Coraline, Etc.) to see which is the best route to go as far as handling the business aspect of them. So we might have a contender as far as indie rap is going if they do go that route.

I wonder if J has actually listened to his old shit? Its nothing but violence and necrophilia just for the sake of it.And try to justify it by saying they usually "kill" people who deserve it. With one or two tracks that try to be deep thrown in each card. I remember that nightline interview where j said they are more "classy" than most horrorcore rappers. I literally geeked out laughing. There isn't anything the least bit classy about the music and that's why I loved it in the first place. GTFO of here with that shit j lol

ABK isnt going to leave, PSY is Native Funk's distributor, and ABK has his own publishing and stuff,,financially it would stupid as fuck for him to leave.
y'all gotta realize that Twiztid may have enough of a following to be independent- they dont have the recourses that psychopathic has. Twiztid is gonna have to finance EVERYTHING on their own unless they actually sign a CONTRACT with a record label(which would give them a signing bonus).
So they would have to not only distribute THEMSELVES, but now they gotta figure out how they are gonna distribute ABK's Native Funk label.
...not to say that Twiztid wont be in a position to sign new artists, but its too early in the game to be thinking about shit like that. Maybe after a couple years when Twiztid's label is established and more financially self-sufficient they'll be able to provide the resources to acts like ABK to distribute his shit. They gonna have a hard enough time helping Blaze out with his music if he up and leaves PSY.

As far as I'm concerned, ICP needs to focus on ICP and that's it. No new artists.
The lawsuit against the FBI is a huge weight to carry and a massive financial burden. It's going to hold up their cash flow in a big way. But you know what? It is the RIGHT thing to do, and I respect that so much. It takes a lot of courage and a lot of strength to man up like that and stand up for what's right for your fans and for freedom of expression in general. Kudos and endless props on that. I'm still blown away by how deep that is. In my eyes, even if it takes every dime or is thrown out by the judge or causes big problems for the label, sometimes you just gotta do what's right. And that's the real victory: knowing that you stood up, even in the face of total destruction.
As for Twiz, business is business. And them boys are going to do just fine out there. It's funny--about a month ago I was sitting with my boy (who isn't a juggalo but a underground hip hop junkie), saying, "Twiztid are legit lyricists but they'll never be taken seriously by the industry because folks see them as clowns under ICP." So now it's time for them to break from that stigma. And that's what's up. They're talented. Let Twiztid do Twiztid.
And let ICP do ICP....people saying they'll go under is a complete shame. Those guys work too damn hard for that to ever happen. That's the experience that I've had working with them. And that's what's up.
I just want a DL reunion--even if it's five years down the line. I'm going to stop bitchin bout that, though. I came to a conclusion the other night when I listened to "Withered." Really strange that it wound up being the last track on the last DL record...Listen to it in the context of the current situation. They're going away, but they'll come back...the ties that bind...
