Yeah I hate the chorus on Hungry and Tha Dog. Biggest parts that drag those songs down. Friend Request made me think of the Amazing Maze for what ever reason.

I didn't like the chorus on tha dogg at first, but it grew on me and now I think it's pretty dope. Especially Shaggy's vocals in the chorus.

Friend Request is great imo, chorus as well. Just don't really dig the preachy back and forth in the beginning of the 3rd verse.

I agree with the chorus on Hungry though, really sucks and kinda fucks up an otherwise decent track.

other than that, Face 4 Fighting and Fite Back are cool, Revenge and Hawking are alright (what drags Hawking down for me is the lyrical content. the conspiracy stuff is really played out at this point). I'm That Type is ok, but J's singing in the chorus is almost ruining it for me, but not quite.

I hate Splish Splash, Be Safe and I Could Never. I Could Never is so stupid on so many levels..

But yeah, overall, I'm happy with the EP. Friend Request is the only song I really like, 3 songs I can't stand, and the rest ranges from 'would be alright if it weren't for X' to 'pretty good' for me.

You're totally right, the beat in the verses totally makes me think of the amazing maze!

Personally, Splish Splash is hilarious and awesome to me. "My house is 85% baths so bring your girlfriends" lol

Cus Lyte is pure trash
Nah, he probably is just in various background vocals like how FFF had "Additional Vocals by Str8jaket, Lyte, Big DooDoo, Ouija Macc, Sugar Slam, Ant G, DJ Carlito, Rude Boy, Becky Pulsifer, and Matt Estep"
Dude shouldn't be on the label though, he doesn't even fit on Psy.. it's like when Liquid Assassin signed to LSP, it doesn't fit

Fite back was fucking dope, DJ paul! that beat was wicked as fuck.

Be Safe was really good... That Eazy-E reference and sample fucking flipped my wig the fuck back.

Hungry and Splish Splash are the only songs on flip I'm not really digging. Not loving the chorus on I Could Never, but I dig the content. "Is he sitting on your lap while you're pooping? Maybe." Also I love Alice in Chains so hearing J do Man in the Box on Tha Dogg was really dope and that's one of my favorite songs from both these albums.

idk I'm still on the fence about that Fite Back song...Shaggy kills it and the beat is dope but I don't really care for J's verse at all...that and the vocals on that song and the first track are not mixed very well at all compared to the rest of Flip (and FFF for that matter)...I Could Never is dope but goes on a little too long and they could have done a better job with that chorus...I know J singing on key isn't something that should be expected very often but still lol

and I really do not understand why Friend Request is getting so much hate lol the beats pretty simple (it was produced by J after all) and the chorus reminds me of some child sing along shit but Shaggy's very was pretty fresh...definitely one of the weaker cuts on both albums but I'm not sure I'd say it's the worst

basically everything after Fite Back I fuck with lol

Right? They were saying real shit too I was surprised. For private prisons and how they just want to control and manipulate the population.

It's almost like... even though they may not have graduated high school they're still fairly intelligent, HMM who would've though *cough cough*

Meh.

House of Krazees already sampled that song years ago in the HOK song "The Evil That Men Do."

Nope. They were initiated years ago. Shaggy told you years ago on his FTFO album in the song "thug pit" that he was involved. And if he is, then so is Violent J. They did this song with those lyrics on flip the rat because people have been accusing them of being affiliated via freemasonry for years.

If they took any oaths, they are dead meat if they break them. Talking about 9-11 and other things isn't breaking any oath of any particular michigan lodge. Many CIA plants are in the truth field telling most or partial truths. Them saying those things don't mean shit. Except that they can rhyme.
