It’s impossible to pick one single icp song that I like best. So many great songs. Maybe house of horrors. Great production from mec, very theatrical, features legz on the intro and both clowns rapping in a style only they can pull off. 

i could easily choose any of these songs my favorite depending on mood.

My favorite ICP song is Burning Up. That beat gives me chills down my spine every time I play it.  

One of J’s shining moments is this song.

I don’t think he’s gay-bashing, but equating folk like the child-molesting preachers talked about in “CPK’s”

In J’s worldview, I think he uses the hateful word ‘faggot’ for the gay people that choose to do evil. In this case, anyway. 

There are many out there, just as many as straight people. My own brother was roofied at a bar, and an old pervert took him back to his trailer and sucked his dick while he was mentally unaware. My brother woke up and the guy was watching some hetero porno. He invited my brother to watch some, but he just wanted a ride home. The guy apparently went back to the bar and was bragging about what he did. A guy we know told him and so my brother pretty much came to terms that he was molested and drugged andnd and at least he didn’t remember it. We found the guy walking into a convenince store and I begged my brother if I could go take care of him. It was night, and somehow the guy saw us and his in the store for a long time. Eventually my brother, the peaceful one, said it wasn’t worth it. The guy has been dropping roofies in guy’s drinks for years. One trick that I figured out while observing him one night, was he would pay other guys to set people up. Once two younger guys, one on crutches to appear harmless, came over and blatantly knocked over my pitcher of beer. They said, “oh you can have some of ours over there” they offered. A pitcher was sitting on a nearby table. I screamed some shit at them and went downstairs. 

The guys that do that, those are faggots. We should just change the term to meaning “a homosexual who drugs and rapes heterosexuals”. Women and men are guilty of this. 

Wow, that was a side rant if I ever heard one. But where else are people going to listen to me, other than Faygoluvers? Not many places, unfortunately.

Back to the track, I love it all. The aforementioned verses have so much imagery and power in so few words.

I don’t think that lyric is about child molesting priests or homosexual rapists but bigots. They claim faggot is like bitch and doesn’t mean what it means typically, that it just means you’re scum and evil and shit.

I think it is an example of them failing to live up to their own ideals. 

Peet pressure for J, maybe. Whenever Esham was around, as he was for some beats and such during Hell’s Pit, J would go heavy on the faggot shit. Trying to impress Esham or something.

Verses from Silence of the Hams and such mentioning gays in that way. Soopa Villain track about Robin being a faggot. The actual Slow Your Roll track. Esham was always around lol.

Halls of Illusions is what got me hooked and I’ve never had the same feeling listening to any of their other songs.
I gotta say Halls of Illusions.

That song is almost their defining song, in my opinion. Punishing the wicked for the sins committed in this life, Dark Carnival style.

Very similar track to Halls of Illusions too. Just the overall theme. I definitely see where you’re coming from on that one.
