So the craziest thing happened to me in court today.  I had to go to pay the rest of my traffic fine, and when the judge called me up to the stand, he just looked a me for a minute.  Naturally I was nervous. So the judge turns and says to the states attorney “look at her necklace, do you know what that is?”  She says no and looks disgusted, the judge laughs and says “that’s Insane Clown Posse”.  She has a bewildered look on her face, like why is he addressing this in court.  He says “miss, I know their music, and it’s pretty disgusting, yet funny”  YES, he said funny.  I starting laughing, and he looked right at me and laughed as well.  He proceeds to tell me that one of his best friends was huge into ICP and made him listen to the X-mas album.  Then he asks me if my car is all decorated with their stickers, I say of course. Then he asks how long I’ve been listening to them.  I say over 14 years.  He was actually impressed. He continues to speak about ICP for another 5 minutes, and mind you, this is in front of the whole court room.  Me and him were laughing together about it.  Yes…I WAS LAUGHING WITH A JUDGE.  The room was SHOCKED.  The states attorney tries to cut him off by saying I have not met the deadline for paying my fine.  He tells her….”give her till Dec 11th” and extends my deadline…..whaaat?  My mouth drops, and he smiles at me and says, your mine till this is all done.  I will be the only judge you see till this matter is complete.  As I’m done I say, thank you your honor, he says “No, thank ICP” and he winks.  I am still in utter shock by what happened today.  I wish I could have recorded the whole thing and had proof,  cause people who have ever been to court know the judge never laughs let alone talks about ICP and laughs with you.  Though it sucked I had to go to court,  this will be a day I NEVER forget.
