Cool stuff, looking forward to hearing it. Hell’s Pit is such a crazy album. Though, does anybody else find it odd how they just happened to “find” 9 more songs from that era? I don’t know how that seems to just happen with them all the time. Oh well, whether or not they are truly tracks intended for Hell’s Pit, it’s still unreleased shit to dig.

Either Mike P uncovered them, they didn’t get released because of Sample issues or they just recorded them and are releasing them under the guise of unearthed Hells pit songs.
Seems kind of fishy none of these saw a FF release. And the last two FF we saw the bottom of the barrels scrapped.
I’m thinking its new shit sold off to us under false pretences.

There are a few possibilities which could make this EP a solid album, but realistically if 2 of the 9 songs are above average, this will be worth it.
We have to consider a few elements of the last 15 years. Hell’s Pit is a consistent album and it is very possible they finished an extra 9 songs that were cut from the album. Next, there have been numerous producers, studios, and changes over time, songs could have been put into storage or misplaced over the course of the last decade. Another possibility is that the songs were not finished at the time of the album and were recently finished, whether from sample issues or time constraints. Or the the songs could have been found in the vault, this is not uncommon across genres. Over the years, consistent groups accumulate a ton of unreleased music.
As for not being released on a FF, if the songs are quality it makes more financial sense to include them on a re-release then to attach them to FFs which are usually the actual throw away tracks with a few better songs included to better sell it. With the anniversary tours over the last several years, this may have been or could still be the plan.
Finally, this is 9 songs from the Hell’s Pit era, I can’t recall there ever being this number of songs from a single album “found” years later. Maybe a single song or two, but this is different. Depending on the length of the songs, this could be a full length album.
It could be throw away tracks after all, but there are some strong chances that its not.

I’m still going with blatant rip off, cash grab.
You said it yourself, No other era has had 9 songs found this many years later. So something is afoot.

That Alakazam song was mentioned by J in one of his weekly freekly’s back in 2003/4 so i’d say that one is legit. I remembered the title instantly. I was also hoping “The Man That Never Died” (also mentioned in the same WF) would be on the album. I’m guessing it was the proposed sequel song to “12” that J said would be on Hells Pit back in a 2002 Murder Dog interview.
I do also find it odd that these tracks just came out of nowhere. If the rest are new songs trying to be passed off as Hells Pit era songs i’m sure we’ll be able to figure it out just by his voice.

Let’s be honest, if it’s not in roughly the same era, Juggalos will know.
They weren’t fooling anyone saying “Someone’s Gonna Die” was from Bizzar Bizaar.
^there is it^
Juggalos are way better at spotting the era of songs than ICP are. I don’t think it’s because ICP are trying to be dishonest or anything but, at least for me, it’s hard to track lost time like that. You’re hearing yourself so you can’t pick up on all the nuances of the song. All you hear is the 1.) Stories behind the songs. 2.) General memories of that time period 3.) Your mistakes or something that you could have done better/differently. It’s just too hard to keep track of everything else. That’s not even including the fact that they have nearly 30 years worth of songs under their belts. Everything probably starts to blur together at that point.
We, however, can hear it from the outside. We can hear the shape of their vocal chords at the time, production quality, beat styles, and a million other little clues that can help identify when the songs came from.
It also helps that some of their lost music shouts out specific Joker’s Cards. If, in one of these songs for example, J shouts out “Missing Link” we’ll probably be able to conclude that that song in particular probably did not come from the Hell’s Pit era.

So wait, Black Blizzard was not from the Melinko era?
Shaggy clearly references it on the song. It even has the Alice Cooper loop at the end.
JJ, but I have a feeling this is the route they are going to take with Hells Cellar.
I hope I’m wrong because Hells pit, although the weakest album in my opinion by the group, has grown on me and I appreciate the raw, basic production. Kind of like Makaveli compared to All Eyez On Me.
So yea, I think the fans would spot a fake from a mile away.

Black Blizzard was not actually from the Milenko era. That was recorded specifically for the Mienko 20th anniversary remaster, so the Milenko references are intentional.
But yeah, I agree what the rest of you guys are saying about how it should be pretty easy to tell if these songs are not actually from that era. They can be pretty loose with the term “era” though. Meaning, technically anything from after Shangri-la up through the Tempest could count. It’s conceivable they’ve had stuff they worked on or completed they never felt quite fit on Hell’s Pit or they recorded shortly after completion of the album. Oh well, can’t complain, unheard music is always fun to check out. Every once in a while some of these songs that were left off end up being classics.

ya know, things like the selection of tracks for those milenko and riddle box bonuses makes me think that they really dont have a very good memory for their own shit.
not meaning that they dont have every detail memorized like we do, i mean, they get the shit super-confused all the time.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I fully understood it was not in anyway shape or form, from the melinko era homie.
That’s why I put JJ (Just joking).
New music is new music, I’m with y’all I’ll take it any way I can get it.
I think FFF probably won’t be out this year, that’s why they are trying to oversaturate the fanbase with all this stuff.
