Right .. I read the article. It sounds like Shaggy was just doing the same thing he does at the Gathering seminars. Making funny faces behind J and adding in snide comments when J shuts the fuck up for a second.

Nothing about it makes me think they secretly dislike each other.

Shaggy spent most his time smoking his Vapor cig and making fun of J talking behind his back.

This is a silly, silly thread.. and I’ll bite.

From what I’ve seen, their relationship is J blabbing a lot, talking over Shaggy a lot, but Shaggy doesn’t seem to mind. Know what I’m sayin?

J mentioned that they have done so much together and been around eachother so much that when they travel together, they barely have much to talk about. Just comfortable silence and needed rest.

I remember J was standing around at the Peoria venue, chatting with Juggalos.He was hype, but after a while he kept staring at the ground, a bit overwhelmed from the good vibes and intensity. People were mumbling where was Shaggs? Word got out that he had been a bit more hungover than usual, so suddenly he comes running by and bounces off some trampoline or something, making a majestic entrance as only he can. J’s face lit up. He was so fucking happy to see his friend Joey, and it showed. Partly maybe to shift some of the attention off of him, understandably so, but when Shaggs made his way to Joe, they were just like kids, yammering and laughing. 

Familiarity breeds contempt, but absence makes the heart grow fonder, type shit.

Watch some old Shaggy shows, you’ll see and hear that these dudes are brothers.

And good friends talk shit to eachother hardcore, depnding on the style of relationship.  My wife and I mock each other and I actually just called her a “Rocky Mountain Spotted Bitch” and she laughed. She said “what are you looking at on yur phone? Is it my birthday present?” I replied “only if your present is two grown men having sex, then happy birthday, baby!” 

One of my best friends, we talk shit so hard to eachother thst sometimes people’s jaws drop like when Walter White first saw Tuco beat that guy to death with his bare hands. He came to visit me last month and I was so raw to him. I said “you’re really over staying your welcome, you piece of scum”. He just talks shit back. It’s healthy and hilarious to all of us.

If you ever question how J feels about Shaggs, then listen to this lyric:

“If I loved Shaggy anymore I’d have to be gay.”

Yup… Me and my best friend of 20 yrs. Talk super mad shit to each other about anything at any given moment.

Ill just be sittin there an he’ll be like,  hey … Fuck off.

And I usually fire back about his mom or some fat bitch back in high school. 

Its about the comedy.

Same people so sure that it’s all love between J and Shaggs are prolly same people that woulda never believed there was anamosity between Twiztid and ICP back during their time at PSY…not at all saying they hate each other, but I myself have witnessed personal anger/tension between them. Let’s be completely honest here, they need each other, just J or Shaggy doesn’t work and devides the money and the empire they’ve built. Only Joe, Joey, and Billy have stayed together their entire career, because they both essentially NEED Joe Bruce to make money. All the other closest people in the ICP circle have stepped away at one time or another (Alex, Rudy, MEC, Legs, Jumpsteady). Now granted they mostly all returned at one time or another (probably for the money) but some left almost as quickly as they returned (MEC/Legs). My point, most people don’t seem to be able to put up with Big Baby Sweets all that well. I know there’s obviously love there between them (as is most anyone you share years of memories and history together with), yet doesnt mean everything is all gravy behind the scenes. I truly imagine Shaggy sees J for how he is, and he’s just down to ride with his boy and make money regardless how much a psycho control freak he is. Shaggy truly is the Psychopathic Soldier.
