the “sources” claiming mostasteless went gold was cuz of the beyond the freekshow vhs / dvd from back in the day, alex abbiss said that twiztid went “gold as butter” but even when i was little i didnt believe it. it is a mocukumentary. it was all in fun. twiztid didnt go gold, kmk has a gold record from being on the scream 2 soundtrack, tech has a gold single for “caribou lou”. icp are the kings of the underground with milenko goin platinum, but it took years to achieve. all their cds go gold and platinum cuz of new fans always purchasing the cds and cuz the record stores order more copies

Oh, that's why I didn't take it as fact, there was one of those “ask me” websites that said Twiztid hasn't gotten any gold records.

i remember a few yrs ago they said on wfukoff beyond the freekshow was a few hundred or thousand shy of going gold.. too bad they never kept pressing that.. theyd prob have it by now..

I thought it only takes 50,000 dvd/vhs/bluray sales to acheive gold status. Whereas albums are 500,000. Quite a difference. 3 platinum records for icp, milenko, ajb, and shockumentary. Gold, riddlebox, ff1and2, maybe ringmaster. And a platinum record for appearing on three 6’s when the smoke clears
