Something I remember reading a few years ago.

Psychopathic Records, Inc., formed in Michigan in 1990, is home to the Insane Clown Posse (ICP), who debuted as Psychopathic Records' first artist with the Carnival of Carnage album in 1992 (up for Gold certification). ICP continues to be the highest grossing artist on the label, releasing many projects, including The Ringmaster (1994; Gold certified), Forgotten Freshness (1995; Gold certified), The Great Milenko (1996; Platinum certified), The Amazing Jeckel Brothers (1999; Platinum certified), The Wraith: Shangri-La (debuted at #15 on the Billboard Top 200, approaching Gold certification) The Wraith: Hell's Pit (debuted at #12 on Billboard Top 200, #1 Independent, 75,000 copies sold at debut), and most recently, Bang Pow Boom on September 1, 2009, which debuted at #4 on Billboard Top 200, #1 on Independent Chart, and has sold well over 100,000 copies to date.

how is it that ringmaster, riddlebox, c.o.c.,went gold.. Shangri-La, c.o.c., the tempest are up for gold. jekel brothers platinum and milenko almost 2x platinum. but twiztid never hasn't even come close to gold?? wtf! I was reading that twiztid makes an average income and icp are millionaires
No.
Sucks they lied and counted their chickens before they hatched about COC and Shangri-La going certified gold. Not that I'm surprised. I remember when they were arguing with Sharon on Stern and J said AJB already went platinum and she brought up the real figures of how it wasn't even gold yet at the time.

It's funny isn't it? And the reason they don't sell as many CDs is because ICP is the real deal, Twizzler is just their "side project" homies lol. And don't let some idiot come on here and say "oh it's cause they don't promote Twiztid's albums bla bla bla", cause that's bullshit! Pretty much anyone who is gonna go out and buy a phisical copy of an ICP album knows who Twiztid is. Lets be real. If ICP is hittin No.4 on the billboard charts that's cause of dedicated fans. In that theory, if twiztid is so much more dope then Twiztid why aren't they all out buying Twiztid's new album when it drops? They don't cause alot of them just don't give a fuck about it (i mean cmon, its twiztid, not ICfuckinP, who cares?) It's not about advertisement. Juggalos KNOW when an album is comin out if they're excited for it enough. But the wicked clowns remain supreme (and need I not mention never die!)

"Twiztid aint making music for no little kids. They make that real shit." That's a pretty childish thing to say. If they're making "that real shit" then every song about them murdering somebody or demonic activity is fact based...
You mean it's not? twiztid and icp aren't really serial killers? I want proof

i think twiztid said it best
ICP are a part of pop culture
every random music fan in the 90s had AJB for "fuck the world" cuz we didnt have internet so you had to buy the cd to hear that song where the Guy says, "fuck" how many ever times he did lol...same with milenko, the classic "Date show" song brought in random people who just liked the comedy of that track
ICP was on WWF and WCW when those companies were at their peaks! they gained a lot of curious listeners who bought a cd or two.
i swear out here in long beach, ca everytime i went into peoples homes i would check their cd rack and almost everybody has a great milenko and AJB cd and didnt even realize it lol. ICP is well known

twiztid was very animated on their hatchet debut though, they tried the ICP route but it wasnt their true style. mostasteless had "spin the bottle", "hound dogs", "first day out" and "85 bucks an hour" and twiztid did "rock the dead" to have that classic mike clark Chanting chorus where it sounds like 20 people yelling "rock the dead"....it was just random stuff...
twiztid was more about songs like "2nd hand smoke" and "renditions of reality". wat twiztid has been doin since greenbook has been more the music they would personally make. freek show and all that other stuff was to give juggalos music.
twiztid is at their peak and found their nitch. yes its more serious but you have to understand ICP is one of a kind, no one will ever duplicate their style of music, its so animated and different.
