@CellE2057 To be fair, my only rough moments were everything outside the con. All part of the adventure though. The con itself was beautiful, and my only regret is not being able to kick it more!
I’m also glad to see I wasn’t the only one putting the hurt on scruffy’s cigarettes. We easily put away a pack between us (and at least a gallon of coffee) in those last twelve hours.

Unfortunately homie I found out last minute that I wouldn’t be able to attend because of my job & had to give my spot to a friend. Next time I’m going to tell them I’m taking vacation as soon as the dates are announced. I half-expected that this would happen which is the only reason I didn’t volunteer & set up my fresh X-Files booth. I appreciate the love tho & wish I could of came & did the damn thang with you guys ?

celle won. best of three. i think i had an own goal in all three matches. as i described it to my boy later, i did not have my best game, but it was level ten ghetto hockey, sho.

Fuck, that got lost in the memories for a second. Yeah, that one was high up there and might be the freshest for me too. That game was a long time comin.
I won two out of three but that win definitely needs an asterisk beside it. It seemed like a small ass table, those fuckin chords were a pain in the ass and fucked up the rhythm, and I don’t think either one of us could really play comfortably in the environment. Also, I just wanna play again so I’ll use any excuse to make it happen. A Faygoluvers tournament would be cool for it but considering how long it took us to get to play, that might be very hard to accomplish.

Lol to be fair, that encounter with him was like my fifth or sixth one. He kept randomly popping up all weekend. One minute I would be chillin and then he would just kind of be there spouting the nonsense that can only come from someone who eats mushrooms with their morning coffee, then he’d shamble away to ruin yet another perfectly decent conversation.

all true, but field conditions cut both ways. no asterisk needed.
ima figure out a way to get a custom table made. portable, solar powered, adjustable-leg, regulation-size table, good for gatherings or cons.

What a great time… So glad I made the trip! I hope they do DCGcon every year! My favorite was juggalos against sanity!! All the game shows and the Tsuro challenge! Everything about the con was pure FUN… It was great getting to meet up with all of you! Its nice to put a face to the name. I’m glad I can go to events like this by myself and have no worries of feeling alone or out of place. It was cool to see all the old stage props…Riding the trikes around put the biggest smile on my face! It was so fun asking juggalos who randomly walked by if they would play giant connect 4 or chutes and ladders with me! @cellE2057 I REGRET not saying yes when you asked me to play family fued… (Honestly, I freeze up sometimes on stage in front of a lot of people and I didn’t wanna fuck it up) so yeah…that’s a game at the con I REGRET not playing, hopefully next time… What I really liked is since we were all playing board/card games, it gets people to have real life interaction! Like having family board game fun night..The after parties were so fun as well, def worth it! At a black light bowling alley/arcade… It was a good venue..all good for 40 bucks! x2whoops.. Hope to do it again next year!

About the booth, X-Files CCG tournaments (multiple pre-built decks ranging from starter to competitive status & a huge trunk of cards if you want to build one yourself), X-Files: the Board Game (+Trust No One expansion) sessions, and X-Files prizes for the top bananas (comics, booster packs, action figures, posters, ECT…)

Finally venturing onto the forums. I told @scruffy at the con that I made an account to comment on posts and venture into the forums, though I hadn’t yet. DCGCon was great! I hope that shit I read about Jumpsteady saying he doubted it being an annual event isn’t true, I’m ready for next year! Thankfully the ICP show is in two days in Indy. My DCGCon high is starting to wear off a little, need another carnival high lol
