DCG con was mad empty but fresh af. The only crowds all weekend were autographs and saturday afterparty. Crew put on a great event for everyone that came and spent time shootin the shit with the juggalos. Prizes especially jerseys were dope. Best parts for me were echoside tournament and seeing and meeting friends.Dope times were had and i hope it returns.
Rarely smoked weed in america that came close to potency in canada in 20 years of partaking. Just sayin. We always joke we can’t wait to get home and get high.
When ever I go across america i cant to get home and get high too. For most of those 20byears amricas weed is fucken shit. Compared to MOST of the country the bay has been years ahead of the game.
That being said the rest of the country in catching up fast as shit. Like of course Colorado, Oregon and like some other rando spot is on the ball but last years gathering the weed there was basically no different. I mean like im still paying top shelf prices for some mids but still legit. I can get a zip for like 150 give or take. And thats me out the game buying from my old B.G.s ppl b gettem for the low. Juuuust saying.
And i know some parts of Canada gots the dope but yall can keep ur moose cakes stick to Thizzles

If you watched the DCG seminar you would have seen Jump tell the crowd that other than him, she did most of the organizing.
Rachel was using a ridiculous dyke-tryin-to-sound-tough voice the whole seminar too.

I would like to read a massive write-up.
hope someone does one.
love how the hater took the time to carefully edit out the part about how the event was bomb. thus provin that he knows, sad case that he is; just like anybody went to the thing knows: its was dope as fuck. the end.
personal speculation, i think hes bitter cuz he cant go to the gathering any more. [now watch him make an excuse about how gatherings are stale anyway, or self-serving, or nobody shows up, or blah blah hater ass blah. and still cant go.]
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Those who attended know that it was, in fact, absolute maddness. The most you’re gonna get out of me is some text message copypasta that, if I’m being honest, captures the least exciting adventures I’ve had for the entire con:
By the time I returned to the convention I wandered into the seminar tent. Tom Wood and Louis Simpson of Into The Echoside were speaking alongside the Morton’s List Creators and Rachel Paul, the event coordinator. As soon as I walked in they started giving me props and telling the Juggalos about how I helped out in creating Juggalos Against Sanity. I was massively hungover and wanted none of this, all I wanted was a cigarette. There’s video of this somewhere. Anyway, even though I felt like shit, the next day was all about Morton’s List. I entered the 360 Degrees Tournament. We broke off into Inner Circle groups of 5 and rolled our quest, which each Inner Circle Group competing to see who had the best experience overall. Inevitably our quest was to play any game of chance involving dice. So our Table Master decides that we will challenge other congoers for the soul of Robin Williams. If you role 5 or 8 with two dice, it means Robin Williams’ soul is forever trapped in Jumanji. If we can free him, we get your signature or any other item you have that we might want. If we lose we pay a dollar to the winner, or some other stake that we agree upon at the moment. Ninja Ben wagered being power bombed by Big Mike at the Gladiatorial Arena…and lost. He took it like I champ though, being hoisted above my friend’s shoulders and brought to the canvas with a thunderclap reverb that was anything but gentle. The respect that we as a collective gained for Ben was palpable in that moment. All told, our Inner Circle ended up losing about 18 dollars, but earned about 26 signatures. The other team rolled Hellified War, which explains why while we were doing this Tox would hop out and start shooting me with airsoft pellets. She even shot my nipple. In the end though, our Inner Circle won the Tournament and I got this fruity little trinket.
The rest of the evening for me was spent working The Bounce House. Basically a glorified baby sitting gig. I pondered the conundrum of DCGCon, how it was the only place it was socially acceptable to let a man in a mask watch your children. From the trade center floor jealous children watched the admitted ones play, and their parents watched me with a blend of confusion and indignation. The house could be used by adults too, and I guess I was pissing everybody off by enforcing the rules heavily. That’s not typical for a Juggalo event, but I did say I was here to work. By the end of the day I was calling myself Bounce House Rent-a-Cop

A big ass review is coming!
Sorry to the detractors, but this was far from a flop, and from everything I’ve heard both publicly and behind the scenes, it’ll happen again next year! I’m hype about it!
And yes, it is extremely easy to leave the part out about the con happening again next year from the same video that was referenced by said naysayer…

According to Scottie D and Scruffy, you’re lying bro.
There were tons of ninjas there, you just didn’t see them.
Profits were being made bro, no way was it a flop.
I know during the DCG seminar they commented about all the empty seats in front of them, but don’t get it twisted.
The event was a roaring success, just ask Rachel’s good homies Scottie and Scruffy.

Alright, numbnuts…
Some of you seem to be ignorant so of course you’d be ignorant as to the difference of what a GAMING convention is as compared to other conventions.
A GAMING CONVENTION IS NOT:
1) A Comic Book Convention
2) A Cosplay Convention
3) A Video Gaming Convention
4) Any OTHER kind of convention that is not SPECIFICALLY for the hobby of “gaming” (et al)
Sure, all those have aspects of the others but if your basis for comparison is from any of THOSE… welcome to a “GAMING CONVENTION”…
PROBABLY the reason some people weren’t seeing a bunch of other people all the time, is because they were… GAMING SOMEWHERE?!?!
If they weren’t LOOKING for a game they were already IN one and spent at LEAST a couple hours doing THAT rather than walking around trying to make the place look better for YOU…
Whereas at a ComicCon, I find it weird and kinda creepy walking past rooms of people playing table top games rather than walking around in costumes buying stupid shit and staring blankly at celebrities… But at a GAMING CONVENTION… [shrug] Not so out of place.
Sounds to me like it went QUITE well.

scruffyAnother cool thing is that people could come and go as they please. A lot of them did. Sunday was light, as was expected. Let’s say 1000 people bought tickets, and 5-600 showed up to the con. I don’t know the numbers, just being hypothetical. 600 people spread out amongst 30,000 sq feet doesn’t look packed at all. Especially when shit was in different “rooms” (curtained off sections). Were they Gathering numbers? Not even close. But to carve a niche market out of an already niche market and still sell enough tickets to already plan another one is a success in my eyes.
Again though, please continue to talk and speculate about what a horrible failure it was without even being there. I can’t wait to “fail” even harder next year! lol.
