CoC is a decent start to the jokers cards, but in no way is it a top 3 album. The raps and beats seem elementary. Maybe its my problem because i overplayed it.

Yea, it’s not in my top 10 for joker cards. I still like it, tho. My personal ranking currently is:
1. Amazing Jeckel Bros
2. Great Milenko
3. Riddlebox
4. Hell’s Pit
5. Ringmaster
6. Bang Pow Boom
7. Death Pop
8. Shangri-LA
9. Found
10. Lost
11. Carnival of Carnage
And FFF is in the 7 or 8 range based on what I’ve heard thus far.

Mine would be, today anyway…
1. Riddlebox
2. The Wraith: Shangri-La
3. The Wraith: Hell’s Pit
4. The Great Milenko
5. Ringmaster
6. The Amazing Jeckel Brothers
7. The Mighty Death Pop
8. The Marvelous Missing Link: Found
9. Carnival of Carnage
10. Bang! Pow! Boom!
11. The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost
The Ringmaster slipped down from like number 2 or 3 because the second half of the album is kinda dull sometimes. Numbers 8-11 are the albums that have songs that I love or really like, but some skippables.

First Day Out is my favorite ICP song but the album isnt top 3 to me. But I always go back to that album and play it start to finish. Something about the rawness of it always makes me wanna play it. Plus a song with kid rock that I actually like is rare enough. Annnnd my daughter is named Joanna so that one clip always makes me laugh

Why? Nostalgia? I’m not going to say it’s not fun to listen to. It was a great introduction as the clowns showing off J’s ability to paint with his words, Shaggs still sounding very young, because he was and the short lived appearance of I forget if it was Greez-E or John Kick Chass, But top 3? Ehhh.
Tossing my hat into the ring you said albums, not Jokers, so here are my top 3. Feel free to tell my I’m wrong or agree, it’s whatever.
In no real order but still top 3.
1. Bizzar/Bizaar: I count it as one album because they came out on the same day and who the fuck wasn’t going to get both? Even if you could only afford one, Bring a friend and have them buy the other, That’s literally what I did and it was worth it.
So, Why top 3? It was a break between the 5 before and the final and they did a fan fucking tastic job of reflecting that mood with the tone of the album. It seemed like everything was pushed to the max of their potential at the time and it showed. It was everything it needed to be, high energy and both hit on all cylinders. Dark, Funny, Murderous, Hopeful, Reflective, Louder, More rock tones. PLUS bonus tracks, PLUS hidden artwork, the fuck more do I need to say?
2: The Tempest: Same kind of story here, They were done with the jokers cards, they had a decision to make, Where do we go from here? As a fan I was eager to see and once again I was not disappointed. 16 tracks of a good time hitting all those notes from before and some new ones. Songs seemed more relatable and artistically playful than before. Not doing it because they had to, but because they want to. It was a fucking banger, Everybody singing along, heads bobbin to the bet.
3: The Wraith; Shangri-la: This was Psychopathic at their height, They were a fucking force. ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, ABK, ESHAM, Zug Izland (axe and smash?) They were doing Rydas and Dark Lotus at the time as well so they were in their prime of working together. Brighter, a bit more positive reflecting the journey that had taken and where they were at the time. Half the end of an era and a fun goodbye that let’s you know things will be okay. Well, that’s how it felt anyway but, life.
Bonus: Beverly Kills: It’s just fun.
So yeah, none of these were huge successes like they had before, but they all marked a turning point, a change in sound, tone, intensity and the ride to come. I see them as artistic peaks even if not sales wise.
Thoughts?

That’s a really ignorant statement. Especially considering that I like COC and stated as such. That’s like asking me to rank my favorite Ninja Turtles. I like all of them, but one of them still has to end up in 4th place. Yea?

I also am a huge Tempest fan. Lots of unique tracks, fun beats, just overall an interesting album.
I forget about the Bizarres, they were great despite a couple similar-themed filler tracks. The shining stars of them were indeed the bonus skits and tracks… “Florida Joe”.. “Right Here, Right Here!”.. the freestyles… the mama jokes… that Shaggy solo.

The Riddle Box is my favorite because in my opinion it captures ICP at their all around best…their voices were top notch (Shaggy’s especially) and it feels like it explores different aspects of horror really well…you get some Michael Myers type shit with “12”…Tim Burton vibes with “Cemetery Girl” and “Headless Boogie”…the Edgar Allen Poe shit obviously with “Ol Evil Eye”…”Dead Body Man” which is like a B movie horror flick…idk there’s something special about that joint

I think overall I like Carnival of Carnage over Ringmaster and Milenko over Riddlebox.
The Bizzar/Bizaar albums are so fucking good I played them to death, the booklets, secret songs, pretty much everything about them is dope to me and I kinda consider them to be MEC’s 6th Joker Cards, especially considering those two dope intros.
I converted a lot of people into being fans of ICP with the Bizzar/Bizaar albums mostly because I had them on repeat for at least two years until The Wraith was released.

I had to think about my top 3… after reading this shit, mutha Facko, I LOVE Carnival of Carnage… first Time I heard it, I was trippin on 8 sugar cubes of acid! haha!
My favorite I.C.P. album though, at least of right now is, it’s probably Forgotten Freshness 1 & 2 the double disc… I know that’s weird or fucked up or whatever to consider as One album, but yeah homiez, that shit’s my shit… Hella good memories listening to that. disc 1 with Project Born on Graveyard, fucking South West Strangla… disc 2 mental warp, Clown Luv, red Christmas… just so many fucking good songs, and hella good memories, so that, right now is my favorite I.C.P. album
I think Riddle Box is probably my second favorite, Then I think Carnival of Carnage and Ringmaster are probably tied for my third favorite… so yeah beeyatch, I Can’t wait to see The 3rd Clown documentary, John Kickjazz, that shit’s gonna be Sicc cuzz!!!
I think Great Milenko had the best quality sound recording though… something about those California studios J was at just somehow perfected a crisp sound on that CD, it would be really interesting to have a cassette version of that, cause I trip the fuck out on sound with music, I love listening to different types of recordings and what not…, haha anyway just thinking about that reminds me of the Slash story haha fucking A that’s one of my favorite parts in that audio book, Slash was fucking down man! Hahaa
