This shit is an insult to people who genuinely suffer from mental health, depression, self arm and suicidal thoughts. My life is plagued with it and it’s deff not something to glorify or play on and this fucker is playing on it. Te lyrics are basically what people without mental health problems think depression is like ! It;s way darker, deeper and fucked up than that and this childish interpretation of it. People really don’t fuckin understand it.I feel like this song is takin the piss out of me and making me look like a fuckin cry baby joke. I somehow feel more isolated and outcasted now. It’s mocking me like the mainstream does and is saying go on just do it. Kill yourself your a fucking joke to everyone else and will always be misunderstood and looked at like tis by people

Is there any chance to buy and/or download the EP? I wanna hear more to get an opinion to that.
For now, I just cant say. I think the concept got potential, but they could have worked out it way better in that first video. Not so whiny, more for retribution. But I dunno, maybe, as the first video/single, mybe it’s something like the birth, and after this introduction we’re going to see her going wild. I stay calm, til I heard more by her.

I have a ninja at the gotj who scooped up a copy for me. So stoked to get it. That first song not only shows she has vocal range, but it was well structured. It wasn’t just a nice little verse/chorus/verse 4/4 beat.

Edit: Also, that Broken song was the absolute shit! I love shit like that. Like I said above, reminds me of the suicidal raps Esham would spit, only this song just turns into a screamo song on the hook, it’s aight, I don’t mind a lil screaming every now and then (I like death growls more). there is a big difference between J and BR when it comes to mental illness. at least J makes you laugh about it, you know he gets it and talks about his shit with a smile on his face. BR just sounds like a spoiled, whiny teenager with her lyrics.

I think that it is different. ICP’s lyrics are for entertainment, same as dark lotus etc. They didn’t really think that the man next door was trying to take them out so they set up a pipe bomb and blew up his house, they don’t really suffocate people and bite their necks until put in a mental institution, they have not been missing for a year with nobody looking, they don’t really mosh with trees.
Blahzay Roze’s lyrics do not seem like entertainment but as if she is actually talking about hating herself, about cutting herself, doing drugs not to have fun but as a flawed coping mechanism, and about actual suicide. That shouldn’t be something that is put in a song- that is something that you should get professional help with. I said in another post that I think younger teenage Juggalos will mainly be the ones to like Blahzay Roze, and what kind of a message is this ep sending to them? It’s not about survival, it’s about being victimized. It’s not about getting through tough shit but about dwelling in it.

Because The Witch isn’t about J’s panic attacks.
We don’t know anything about this woman, how do you know if it’s real or entertainment. Even if it is, almost every artist channels their mental state into their music.
I haven’t heard the whole EP, so I can’t really tell you if it’s about survival or not. It IS hypocritical to say you don’t like this woman’s music because she glorifies mental illness when practically every act ever on the label has done the same thing. The name of the label ITSELF is glorifying mental illness.
