From what I've gathered, he doesn't like her being on Psychopathic because she's not the gimmick that she claims (his posts on fb would imply as much) and the fact that she left her dude. Which seems like a serious misunderstanding of the word "gimmick" to me. I could go on and on about why--mainly focusing on the fact that I'm not a thirteen year old Hot Topic kid with daddy issues and a love for whatever will embarrass my future self the most, but I'll stop myself there. If you dig her, cool. I mean, I consider your music taste to be that of a sentient pile of used diapers' that's just hearing music for the first time but that's your deal and that's cool.
Calling her a skank seems unnecessary though. Untalented, sure. Generic, absolutely. Predicable, you betcha. Comically one dimensional, sure thing. A desperate attempt to make your label marketable to a younger crowd again, without question. But skank? Naw.

Ya i'm really on the fence about her too. I'm not a fan of the metal sound either but the more i listen to her the more i like her and the better it sounds. I prob listened to Broken 20 times the first 2 days just showing her to all my boys lol. I didn't like it at first but now i do. I had really high hopes for her. Especially since everyone was shitting on her so bad before they even heard her. I was ho'd come out and kill it. It wasn't as good as i thought but i am glad that atleast alot of us are atleast giving her a chance now.
And idk about the Raped At 15 song. Lol. But i understand it. It happens. And she did that song for the people that can relate to it and alot of people can.
I just hope she comes quick with an album and that the album will blow all our wigs and make her a true artist of the family and not what happened Tali Demon. I really liked Tali but i think J dropped her cuz of her work ethic. It doesn't seem like she's truely dedicated to making music

Mec's beats have been wack for years though. People will argue with me but regardless of what era, or whatever project they are doing you can't compare his old beats to the new era. I expected way more from MEC.

So just bumped it and she is excellent! I thought broken was the worst song oddly enough. I love that each track has a totally different vocal and beat style. She goes from spitting the wicked shit to beautiful melodic vocals to scream metal and even included a spoken word section. The album never once feels the same and is a breath of fresh air.
I keep hearing people say Violent J wrote her raps but they sound so personal that I am pretty sure she wrote her own lyrics. There is no way J could get in the mind of a girl who has been raped that well, or even be willing to write that for somebody else. She also spits some of those songs so fast she HAD to have written them. Some of the choruses were likely J but I would bet my balls she did the rest.
I have been excited for her since announcement, but my hopes weren't high. "Broken" video was okay but I was ready for a letdown. I was completely blown away however.
