Personally I say yay. Because even though Violent J had a lot to do with his first album, I believe Big Hoodoo will blossom into his own on the label and will be revered as much as other artists who have come and gone on Psychopathic. I can understand to a point why there are some Juggalos who aren’t into hoodoo, but most of those ninjas are still bitching about Twiztid being gone and all the negativity that surrounded that time in December 2012.
Crystal skull was wicked. I don’t know why some of the complaining was going on about that. Those ninjas obviously didn’t listen to the whole album. Cuz that shit is wicked. And I am looking forward to some new Hoodoo in the future.

For me its too early especially as I’ve only heard three of his tracks. I kinda liked Hexed, didn’t like Never Had that much. Spells was kinda stupid. Lemme give the whole record a spin one day I guess.

Hell muthafuckin’ yay!! I just don’t like his name, it’s kinda childish. Just sounds stupid to me, but his album was dope to me. Spells is an awful song though, I’ll give you that. I hope he sticks around and grows as an artist.

Yay for sure. Love crystal skull. favorite tracks are Crystal Skull, Hexed, Mountain Climbing, Detroit Murderous, and yes Spells is one of my favorites as well. It’s fucking hilarious and fun. It injects some much needed sillyness into an otherwise heavy, dark, and somewhat monotone album. Fuck the haters, spells is the shit. And you best bet I get live when it comes on.

I’m neither Yay nor Nay on this one. I haven’t fully formed an opinion as of yet.
The first album was hit and miss, and a bit underwhelming. That said, there’s certainly some potential there, especially if he’s allowed to do his own thing, and not just J’s thing.
I did dig the hell out of “Happily Ever After,” though.
