definitely doesnt help the gimmick any that everyone knows who dude is...replaces any possibility of being a mysterious, spooky enigma with silliness.
only thing i like about this nonsense is that it reminds me of the 1990s...granted, thats because its so dated conceptually /visually, but...the 90s were my shit

What's childish is what I dont get, why is a voodoo pries more childish than any other psy gimmick? And the only complaints that ive seen over and over bout this song (other than ppl trying to take stabes at J who seems to be the designated scapegoat for all things psy) is that it's too slow/dumbed down. it's his intro to the people, it's supposed to give you a feel of who he is/what he does. If you just wait for the album I guarantee they don't all carry that pace, and if they do who cares? He works it. It fits him.

Hoodoo can prove he's legit if right after this LP drops (if it's good) he throws out an EP or mixtape. That's the problem with new PSY artists not lasting, obviously J is in control, but the more material that can get released the better.
