Meh. That’s…kind of dumb? I don’t know, limited edition reprints seem like a way to punish the fans that weren’t quick/rich enough to get it in the narrow time frame. It’s right up there with releasing multiple variations of the same album with like…one song different between them, in terms of musical dick moves.

Well… they’ve done that, too. You know, like Bang! Pow! Boom! I just bought the one with the tracks I liked best. I didn’t find it to be that big of a deal.

TMG did it with at least two fucking albums. It drives me batty.

I wish Nuclear Edition had all three full second-track songs, instead of the weird mash-up they did.

Pass Me By is on, now. Did they cut Under the Moon out of this version or am I mis-remembering where it sits on the album?

That’s really disappointing. Under the Moon is probably my favorite song on this album.

Boogie Woogie Wu was also one I liked, I’m embarrassed that I didn’t notice it was missing.

(I don’t actually like House of Horrors, much, I just wanted to say something nice about Shags in a thread meant for saying nice things about Shags.)

You should be. You are a disgrace to all juggalos, everywhere.
Honestly though, I don’t imagine you’ve given that disc many spins before, and you seemed to catch on quick enough that shit was missing.

Fair enough.

I have literally never played this disc before tonight.

Actually, I don’t think I’ve played anything in the case…

Jesus, I’m a bad friend. You send me literally all your CDs and I’m like LOL NO.

I played the fuck out of BPB, though, until it started skipping. Then I bought a used copy at Ralph’s Records, and it too started to skip. So I asked the dude if he could get me a copy of the Nuclear Edition and his answer was basically “Lol no.”

I mean, I’m pretty sure you’ve also listened to Wizard of the Hood plenty.

You’d probably like Shangri-La, too. Same era as WotH, similar positive vibe. I think it should still work, too. Also, that was actually the first Joker Card I bought.

Uuuuuugh I love WotH.

I really love the collector’s edition you got me, even if the vanilla version has better bonus tracks.

Multiple Myselves gives me the feels.

Multiple Myselves is good. Bloody Bitch is superior, though. I could take or leave My Shine.

Bloody Bitch is catchy, but I’m not sure I’d call it good.

But then, I’m not usually into the more senselessly violent songs. I’ll take shit like Shiny Diamonds or the World is Yours, anyway.

Speaking of My Shine, I noticed earlier that they mention their “shine” in Lost, too.

Yeah, shine is just a general term in the juggalo lexicon. I think it probably originated on Shangri-La, but not I’m not sure about that.

Also fuck you, Bloody Bitch is dope.

MEEEEEEH.

I won’t argue, the rap is solid, but the subject matter does nothing for me.

I can get behind shit like To Catch a Predator because at least the victim deserves it, but Bloody Bitch is just…eh. At one point the character implies that a woman deserved to die for not having sex with him, and while I doubt he’s meant to be sympathetic, that shit still harshes my mellow.

I had forgotten how good he is in Found (the song).

I’m usually partial to J, but Shags really carries that song, legit.

Our Hero’s probably my favorite track on B!P!B! and it’s a hidden variant song. The red version was definitely the best, in my opinion.

I know this is a Shaggy thread but I had to drop in to say that Bloody Bitch is the shit. I remember it was a Thanksgiving day that J dropped that and My Shine for free on the website. Bloody Bitch is one of those oddly amusing and weirdly catchy songs that if it had completely different lyrical content, it’d pretty much be a hit.

I won’t deny, it’s hella catchy.
