Shaggy’s verse on Coagulate (Mud, Water, Air and Blood) is probably my very favorite verse of his, and one of my probably top five Dark Lotus verses.

Vultures is probably one of my favorite songs from the label, even if it’s rather insulting to the actual birds.

 

In an ecological sense, vultures are actually good people. They prevent the spread of things like anthrax and botulism, as well as keep the numbers of other scavenger species in check. India actually has a really big problem with rabies; the vulture population collapsed due to a certain veterinary drug used on cattle, and now wild dog populations have absolutely exploded because there is no longer competition for food sources

It’d probably be something on Great Milenko if I had pick my favorite 2 Dope stuff but I can’t go back and listen to it because you took sandpaper to all your CDs before you sent them to me.

Okay look I busted out Lost just so I can contribute to this discussion. Probably not the most self-aware to use ‘fag’ in a song lambasting a symbol of hate. I really like How but I don’t think it’s for Shags, I just…like the song.

Jeez this is hard, I don’t usually pay attention to who is singing. I just…like certain songs.

Meh. That’s…kind of dumb? I don’t know, limited edition reprints seem like a way to punish the fans that weren’t quick/rich enough to get it in the narrow time frame. It’s right up there with releasing multiple variations of the same album with like…one song different between them, in terms of musical dick moves.

Well… they’ve done that, too. You know, like Bang! Pow! Boom! I just bought the one with the tracks I liked best. I didn’t find it to be that big of a deal.
