Whenever a new ICP album comes out i get this sort of anxiousness for the months leading up to it, where i think maybe i wont like it, maybe it wont sell, maybe it will be their last album?
I Think alot of it has to do with negativity of the internet seeping into my subconscious. Every time i turn around i am reading
“Psychopathic is falling apart”, “Psychopathic is going under”, “ICP are over”, “There is beef with so and so over such and such”. Even when i went to the gathering like 8 years ago there were assholes running around “Twiztid and icp got into a fist fight, twiztid left the camp grounds, lotus wont be performing”, but they did. How much do some of you who have been around in the scene for a while let that stuff get into your head and plant seeds of doubt. I try not to let it irritate me, but i cant help, its just so prevalent that its impossible to just switch it off and ignore. Back before i paid attention to the internet(in the wraith days) i would just see new ICP coming out and be super fucking psyched. Now i still get super fucking psyched, but its tainted by this doubt, this notion that its going to fail and they are going to be in trouble. I know its a stupid thought to have but it still worms its way in there and rattles around. Anyone else experience that same kinda thing or am i simply crazy?

I don’t have those issues. I hear and read all the same things but I take it all with a grain of salt. Reality is what happens at the moment and it is always different from the many speculations of what people say it was going to be. It’s not hard to ignore those rumors, predictions, and speculations when you look at how many times they were all wrong.

People kinda suck. Im irritated with juggalos on the internet because alot of the ninjas that are supposed to be about “mad clown love” are just assholes who love talking about negative shit, “im a juggalo but icp has put out nothing good since wraith” “good thing twiztid left psy is falling apart” i think those ninjas just lost touch. The new shit like bpb/mdp that no one seems to like will be classic shit in the near future when people stop judging it cuz its a NEW ICP SOUND and just love it cuz its A ICP SOUND. Im always excited about new albums I get them the day of release and listen front to back in one go, best feeling ever.

People say shit all the time about them going under or people not being able to be as big as they want but people don’t know shit.
And that goes for people that say that they know there is beef.
And that goes for people that say that they know there is no beef.
The biggest sense of doubt for Psy came from when Joe Strange said he left psy because he saw many long time employees jumping ship.
But I don’t think they will be shut down for a long time.

Thank you for making this thread Lol. Negative ninjas are so fuckin stale.. does ICP, TWIZTID etc… owe you something specifically? I dont think so.. have they not contributed countless memories, experiences , and joyous occasions to your life? Did they not ispire you the slightest bit? If you answer no, then what the fuck are you doing here? What does being a juggalo even mean to you? Whats the point of sticking around? Do you have a logical reason for taking time out of your superior life to talk down on what the rest of us still love and enjoy? Why does it bother you that in this day and age they OFFER the OPTION of VIP?. I was lucky enough to meet ICP in the past for FREE. and faygo Armageddon for FREE. To me those memories are so fresh i would without a doubt spend $100 to relive those experiences. My bills are paid, so why not get the VIP ? does it make me less of a juggalo for giving them that money and supporting the music i love?…. anyways. .. yeah the negative shit is stale. But the majority of those lame “ninjas” only exist on the internet lol. I hope to see all the real this weekend in full force at juggalo day!!

^ I’d worry more about something like that than if Psy is going to go out of business. Since Psy is predominantly just ICP these days (the other artists could easily sign somewhere else, or release independently), I don’t see them NOT releasing more albums, even if they have to record in an in-home studio. I’d worry much more about particularly J’s health deteriorating if he doesn’t lose weight.
When Boondox left Psy, then Twiztid left Psy, it really made me realize that I don’t care who is on what record label. I’m gonna support the artists I like, no matter where they are. I like ICP and will continue to support them, even if Psy goes under and they are just two guys rapping into a boom box.
