The Tempest by Insane Clown Posse was released. Good cd I thought. I think its as good as bpb maybe even better.
The Tempest is better then MDP though. I just listen to the whole mdp cd again recently, I didn't skip a track. My opinion is the same still. I like the bonus mdp cds better.
I shall bump the calm the tempest and eye of the storm today

i havent really taken the tempest out of rotation since i got it. not for more than short stretches, anyway.
death pop is only now becoming a lil tired to me. two years to get to that point is not bad. but the tempest hasnt really gotten there yet, so its doin a lot better. almost as well as the greats.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

maybe people didn't like the Tempest because the whole era of the Joker card was over, and it just didn't feel the same. it wasent really clowny for them. but I like it. been a minute since I bumped it. gonna have to. for me, everytime I play this album, it takes me back to that time and its kind of like im in 2006 again.
the only other album that can actually take me back in time and feel like im in that moment is Bizzar/Bizaar and Freekshow. I have a hard time remembering things, but that day, 10/31/2000, I can still remember the ride up to the store, bumping it forever, who was in my life at that time.... everything. its a feel good album, and can always put me in a better place.
I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!

I completely agree. I've been listening to MDP quit frequently from the time it was dropped... only a couple weeks ago did I start getting a bit tired of it. On the other hand, I only listened to The Calm/Eye of the Storm for the first time ever few months back... and I gotta say my initial reaction wasn't a good one. Idk how it happened but I LOOOVVEEE those albums now! *I just love the vibes the albums have*. When I got to the tempest, my my initial reaction was much better... but for some reason I've just have had a hard time getting into since then. I sure sooner then latter its just gonna click for me like the calm did. Damn is that song growing again absolutely awesome though.

The Tempest ia one of thw moat bafflingly hated on ICP albums ever. I dont love BPB. MDP is very good. But Tempest has more appeal overall. New at Six O Clock, The Tower, Alley Rat, Haunted Bumps, Growing Again, Play My Song, Mexico City. Good stuff. Only ones I dont love are The Party and If I Was A Serial Killer.

I wouldn't say I hate it, it's just for SOME reason I don't like any of the songs off of it. I've listened to it more recently and nothing changed. I love the calm, and I really like eye of the storm, I just Cannot get into the tempest. Maybe I'm still salty that they changed it to a roller coaster or something.

only song that platter i dont love is watch my ride. and ive gotten so used to hearing that one that i really dont dislike it anymore. actually, i find that if i dislike an icp song, about half the time i change my mind after listening to it several times. love, on bpb, is like that.
back to the tempest. news, bitch i lied, and what about now are three of my all-time favorites.
im not the biggest fan of the calm. its decent, but gets beaten by a long list of albums.
eye of the storm, i think, is very underrated. high rise is fuckin brilliant. i dont listen to wind me up, but not cuz it sucks; it just isnt my style, it reminds me of people i dont wanna think about, and its kinda on the nose with the whole message. after listening to it i feel like i need a cup of coffee.

Omg, I wasn't alone when it came to that song?! lol, I just didnt fuckin get it/like it at all... now I fucken rock out when it comes on, lol.

i dont listen to wind me up
Funny how peoples personal taste differ so much... I hated High Rise so much I deleted it off my iPod, yet I look at wind me up as one of ICP classics in my eyes, lol.

Any ICP track that they use pure imagination in is a classic. such as "Fly away", "Crystal ball", "Nothings left", Plus the tracks they do at the end of most albums. Pure motherfuckin' magic. Sure icp puts out a lame song here & there, but a lot of the songs are either deep, funny, or imaginative. let's all hope The Missing link albums aren't Stale as hell. Im looking for that Negative (lost) & Positive (found) sound from the mouths of J & Shaggs. If these two albums flop, im just gonna stick to the first 6 albums.

And "if I was a serial killer" was a deep track, just some of j's versus were stale, but still worthy of a track. the shittiest album they've done would be bang pow boom, and the mighty death pop. both felt rushed, and didn't seem like ICP gave the album proper attention, or anything.
But hey usually legitimate beef, and stress is usually what kept their fire fueled. Rednecks, Idiots, gay people, other musicians beef, and REAL juggalos. That's what kept them at their Prime, now it's like everythings changed. It somewhat feels like its mandatory to release music only so juggalos don't get pissed. why not just release music through inspiration from the juggalos and make them proud through out all these years? Make a dark ass lotus album, forget about big hoodoo, DJ clay, have twiztid back, inform twiztid to bring that 99'-00 sound back, and for ICP to bring that 94'-01' sound back. Listening to "the Great Milenko" album by accident back in 02' is what got me hooked on ICP's music. now I feel disappointed in them.

one nice thing about icp [as most juggalos are well aware], is that throughout their discography, there will be at least some songs that you will like, whatever styles you dig most. rap/rock, funny/wicked, thoughtful/brainless, and on and on.
something for everybody. just about every icp song is somebodys jam.
one thing that most juggalos dont seem to be aware of, is the reverse: there will also be songs/styles that you wont like.
most likely, just about every icp song is hated on, or at least considered overrated, by somebody.
ya know, the vast majority of music acts out there, the big successful mainstream ones with zillions of fans? all those fans only like the same ten songs. they dont have this kinda variety of opinion in their fanbases.
another reason why juggalos are interesting, and the masses are drab and boring.
awfully paranoid, arent you?
