What??? Xclan???? Those pro black rappers who say “Voodoo, runnin’ from my magic” and wear afghans all the time and sing “To the East blackwards!!!” Oh hell no, you must be mistaken. Xclan would never tour with ICP and play to a bunch of white people. Not the Xclan I knew in the early 90’s.

I went to that tour with a few of my brothers. I remember Xclan being kinda lack luster actually. The best part was we told my ex we were just going to my buddy’s house but she stopped home on her break and caught us all painted up and flipped her shit cuz I didn’t wanna take her with me…I guess you could say we got caught “White handed.” I came stumbling in rolling balls with my paint all smeared at like 3am so I doubt I woulda been able to keep that secret anyway.

I definitely missed that tour, never even heard about it. Can’t believe Xclan toured with ICP. My sister used to listen to Xclan back in the day, and I always picked on her for it. She said she just liked the beats but in my opinion bumpin’ Xclan and being white was just irrational, and retarded. They must have been desperate for cash.

I thought both the cd and tour was dope. Xclan was really lame from what I remember but it was my first time seeing icp and twiztid together in one night. Last time they had toured together before that was before shangri la came out.

I remember the tour, I just don’t remember much of X-Clans honestly. It was my girlfriends friends sweet 16th birthday party and we got invited, limo ride included. Then the friends mom started giving me shit cause I spent my money on a hoodie and not paying her back. Shit, I didn’t ask to to go, her friend wanted me to go so hey. The concert was fun and shitty at the same time. Bringing a date to a show and wanting to get up in the pit and up front wasn’t happening but this douchebag that came with us got a charlie horse midshow so that made me feel a little better. I didn’t like his lame jokes and I didn’t appreciate the dude throwing a corn muffin at me earlier, the fuck is that shit?

Why is it irrational to listen to X-Clan when you’re white? They’re good musicians. It’s not like they are ANTI-White. Also, I agree that The Tempest is their weakest album. I actually enjoyed The Calm though, and, surprisingly, The Eye of the Storm.
My friend who hates ICP and only listens to top 40 liked a couple of the songs off of The Tempest.
I guess that’s not fair though, because my super-religious mom likes “In Yo Face!”
But, I digress…

I never said that they were anti white. There you go, making it about a race issue again. Their lyrics, at least off of To the East Blackwards and Xodus were extremely pro black and meant to be uplifting to the black race as well. They wanted black people to smarten up and lose the gold for African beads and their designer clothes for afghans, didn’t want them to be stereotypes. As you can see if you take a look at the inner cities and beyond, Xclan did a hell of a job on that front. Good job fellas!!! Also, in their lyrics when they talk about “Devils”, who do you assume they are referring to? Here’s a hint, it wasn’t Satan.
And the fact that your top 40 listening friend likes some songs off The Tempest should tell you something.

Well, you did say that it is irrational for a white person to listen to them. I did make an assumption saying you thought they were anti-white though, so that was my bad.
And yeah, I can’t think of one song off that album I enjoy.

BPB had better production than Tempest but it had a lot of refried themes from sure-winner classics.
Zombie Slide was Headless Boogie/Rock the Dead
Fonz Pond was a PG Marsh Lagoon
I Found a Body was Dead Body Man/Mad Professor
I’m only half joking. But seriously, of the last three ICP albums, BPB is my least favorite. I don’t know what it is about it. I like MDP the most I guess.
