The govt assistance thing I agree on, it should only be a temporary thing. If your sitting at home pregnant with your third child itll be less costly for the country to snip your tubes than to give you the $1500 tax credit yearly for numbers 3-7 for 18 years. Also if your living above your means it's a dumb supplement. If you lose your $180,000/yr job then make cuts to your expenses. It's not my job to make sure your range rover payments are made so your kids dont lose unlimited wi-fi. If you need to downsize, then do so.

Is the average person not supposed to have 3 months wages in a savings for those 'what if' situations? I mean I sure as shit dont but if I lost my job I know some real shit is going to change and we are going to lose amenities. Sorry pup your getting Dollar General tonight instead of Purina 1.

I'm from Youngstown. It's not the worst place but it's not a nice place. I pass 2 housing complexes on the way to work. Some of the cars parked outside are nicer than mine, yet you can drive past any hour of the day and the people are just sitting outside on their stoop. Shits baffling, really. In PA I knew of 6 housing complexes.

The people that collect should be under random 24 hour surveillance. If the situation seems fishy then it probably is.

I agree with the death penalty, if without a shadow of a doubt the person is guilty then bring em out the back door to the firing squad. Do not pass go Do not collect $200.
