Right, I was always a Twiztid fan based on their music and common interest.  Assholes or not, they’re a couple of funny guys.  And I listen to plenty of other rap that considers all of this to be a big joke anyway.  The whole juggalo culture ultimately boils down to common interest.  And of course, public perception.  They’re still a couple of fuck bois with face paint and weird lyrics to the majority of the public whether or not they talk shit on ICP.

From a musical standpoint, I’m never gonna stop listening to them.  A lot of the classic rock artists that people listen to are complete self absorbed asshats both on stage and off, and people don’t complain.  Axl Rose, Steven Tyler, Paul McCartney, Ozzy Osbourne, Sammy Hagar to name a few.  These people like DC FaygoGuy who decided to sell off everything that Twiztid did after psychopathic are ridiculous to me.  You’re going to actively avoid music that you are on video record of praising because of politics?  Really?

Before somebody comes at me with the “lolz, you’re comparing Mono to the Beatles and Black Sabbath, lolz.”  I am, but not in terms of style or ability.  Just in terms of the scale between an artist’s status compared to the size of the fanbase and how they’re looked upon despite their actions.

I listen to total douche bags like all tbose ppl u mentioned and more. And i dont stop until something really grinds my gears. Usually werid race shit. Bit like thats just me i let hella other bullshit fly cuz i doesnt strike a cord…make me an ass but oh well. And like its like i can quietly put ppl away like i did with Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins but still know how important they are. I listen to Dark Lotus alot and i hear them rap almost everyday…it does tame alot for me to put on a Twiztid song i love tho..like im about to click and im like maaannnn…im usually drunk and twisted myself.

What i love from them i love and it is what it is. And hes still a fuck boy. And they still dont get a dime out of me.

But yeah ur right about everything. Even if im not.

I dont have to jump in anybodys train. I dont hate on everything they do cuz i dont support them so i dont pay attention to what they do. And ppl should scramble to back up everything they say just cuz u do support them and theres ppl who blindly hate on them.

Like why do ppl gotta deal in extremes. If u do when ur wrong ur never going to admit it. Ppl should just chill and decide what they like and what they want to spend money on according to each persons interest or how ever u say that. Bit yeah it is all good and it should always

nah i actually agree with you 100% i do the same that’s why i don’t buy the majority of merch and all that, the music yes, but that’s bc i enjoy it,  therefore i enjoy the artist and watch the live streams. i think it’s important to give the video a view tho if it’s gonna be talked about tho it’s not really an informed opinion and that gets under my ball skin. i’m guilty of being a troll sometimes too tho bc shit’s fun sometimes but when it comes to twiztid i get defensive bc after jeckle brothers it was mainly twiztid that kept me hooked. i see where you’re coming from tho

This pretty much sums up how I think Twiztid still feels about the whole thing.  Despite being recorded in the Wraith era when Twiztid was the most “down with the clown,” you’ll notice they say absolutely nothing about embracing scrub life, and they never say the word “juggalo” in the whole song even though that word is all over that fuckin album.

I did see it and thats why i spoke. I understand why u would assume i didn’t but i did.

And feel what ur saying about them meaning alot to u and how it would feel with a bunch of ppl blindly hating and trolling.

But not everyone is those those dudes and not every twiztid fan and supporter is a on a band wagon and have bliders on.

I guess its up to us to show ppl how to act ya feel me?

Twitter is abuzz with people pissed at Mono for saying that being a Juggalo was about being “a piece of poop” before Twiztid came along. I assume this is from a Bunch N Bake but I’m not gonna watch 9 hours of footage just for one quote. Can anyone pinpoint where he said it?

Later in the same video, Sid Jones comes on and they discuss a few things, including Monoxide’s video. We first hear Sid at 51 minutes and 56 seconds.

Mono says something at 22:22 in response to a live viewer comment. “We’ve always stood for the embattled, the downtrodden, the pushed asides, that has been us. Every fucking step of the way. That’s all I can say.”

Who is WE? Does he mean just Twiztid? I hope he is not implying ICP never talked about social issues in their music before Twiztid was signed. Read the words inside the album cover of Carnival of Carnage that were written by Violent J. That whole concept album was about poor people trying to make it in the slums, but yet the lower and middle class is always used and abused by the rich, upper classes. Read the lyrics to “Taste.” Especially Jump Steady’s verse. Hell, look at the song Halls of Illusions. It exposes wife beaters, child abusers and white trash racists. How is that not standing up for the little guy in a way? Clearly ICP wasn’t just about being a scrub.

When it comes to ‘being a scrub’ or being in a lower economic class, ICP’s message was about throwing off the shame others tried to put on you just for being born into a poor family. By looking at what the rich people were doing to the detriment of others, we see that being poor doesn’t make you inherently evil. Many rich, well off people are responsible for wars, death and destruction. And yet they hypocritically talk shit about people who live in the ghetto and have never even killed or raped anyone.

Listen to ICP here. Clearly they were on the shit that Mono seems to be implying they never were. ICP never needed Twiztid to talk about things other than just not being ashamed to be poor. ICP did rap about other important issues.
