Id say theres plenty Of Horror inspiration to be found in everyday life…Watch the News.People shooting up crowded places,Falling into Madness,Suicide,Genocide.Home invasions,Stabbings.Kidnappings.Girls throwing babies in Dumpsters.People setting dogs on fire and stomping em out.Jealous women blowing there mans head off.Shit happens everyday.I could pull up a news page right now and find 5 stories that scare the shit outta me worse than any Ghouls and Goblins….Ive seen other Horrorcore artists use this Format and pull it off Greatly. Wouldnt mind seein wat Twiztid could do with these kinda concepts.

ya buggin.if the next album was anywhere near as good as abominationz, that’ll be a huge success cause that album is a fuckin gem.
other than that, im a sucker for whenever they do the rock shit.usually, rap-rock is insanely corny & i cant stand it, but i fuckin love the shit madrox does.so the more of that we can get (imo) the better ![]()

I’d like a sequel to Freek Show. Freek Show could have been to Industrial Rock what TPAB was to Jazz. But back then their skills weren’t nearly as honed as they are now. So them using their grown talents to make an Industrial Rock masterpiece would be great. Seven combined with Fritz. Well, I’m not sure how well Seven could pull that style off. Fuck it, lets go back in time to 1994 and get an angry Trent Reznor to produce it. Album cover for Freek Show 2 would have the same split face but with a crown of thorns. Then the poster will show them nailed to a cross.
Or, even better maybe, they bring in a whole new style just out from nowhere that we didn’t even know we wanted.

Not saying they aren’t good, or it sucks, but it’s not what I want to hear with twiztid.
Right around the time Independent’s Day dropped, I realized that Twiztid and I just can’t fux with each other anymore. Although I keep holding out hope that they’ll drop something that I’d like, I remain convinced that the demented duo and I are just on different pages musically. When W.I.C.K.E.D. dropped, I salivated at the intro and then mostly got bored. Aside from a song here or there, in the past like 10 to 15 years, I haven’t felt much of what they were doing.
Sometimes we outgrow stuff we once loved, or it outgrows us, or we just fall out of sync with it.

I think it would be Dope if Twiztid did more tracks with Underground horrorcore artists..I mean Cmon.Allota these Dudes been in the trenches grinding for years and would benefit allot from that kinda shine..U can let these Guys open shows for you but cant even shout em out in the flyers half the Time. How is it No one from LSP,espicialy Scum.Got a Collab with them yet?
My dream collab since 2012 has been Twiztid and Dark Half. Too late now…
Gordy would be dope. Lo Key too. LOL. Psycho Jesus! Get some acid and let Jak Progresso go. Dope D.O.D. might sound good with them. Sadistik would be an interesting collab. Don’t know if they could keep up with Sadistik though. Despite the fact that I hate the Aqualeo cult and the fact that Priceless thinks he’s the resurrection of Jesus Christ and he spreads an anti gay message, Aqualeo would be dope. Mars, Mars has definitely grown a lot on his Zodiac album, I’m sure he’s grown even more since then. Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire and Twiztid. That’d be different. How come there has never been a Brotha Lynch collab with Twiztid?

Yeah. I think that’s true for a lot of people with ICP. They aren’t the same band they were 25 years ago and we kinda keep expecting them to be. For a while I was there with ICP but then Bang! Pow! Boom! dropped and I almost died. When I was healthy enough to get out, I was like I gotta go see them one more time and they schooled me like a mother fucker. Seeing them live, and spending a lot of time thinking about my mortality and shit really brought me up to speed with where they are conceptually and I dove back into it head first.
I still disagree with them about the whole god thing but I appreciate it more I guess.

I think the biggest thing for me, and not the only thing, is that their concepts started wearing thin. Like, they used to have a political and social commentary and instead of growing on that they grew away from that. That was the great thing about their gimmick that most people never saw and I feel that it never got used to it’s potential. You ever listen to the fake interview Kendrick Lamar does with unheard recordings of 2pac at the end of To Pimp A Butterfly? There is a part where 2pac talks about the poor rising up and eating the rich. That one statement completely defined the concept of Carnival of Carnage. Most people don’t recognize it, most people remember how they talked about their balls a lot and it was funny. Which is also another reason I can’t connect with it anymore. They talk about their balls a lot. It takes a lot away from many of their more serious songs when they bring up their dick and balls. They got too goofy for me.

I see where you’re coming from. To an extent I agree. I miss when they were speaking to the evils of the world more but I actually really appreciate them speaking to the evils within ourselves quite a bit. I think the Mighty Death Pop is one of the most conceptually sound albums.
The dick and balls stuff does get old, er rather we got old and they didn’t get old with us.

Yes, you feel the same way I do. ID sucked, wicked was boring aside from a few tracks, and everything else has just been like, really? This is the twiztid we got now? Abominationz was good, but not “great” with seven, the whole album just sounds the same. I don’t dig sevens production with twiztid for a WHOLE album. maybe a few tracks, but not the whole thing. I really would like to see what fritz and twiztid would come up with on another album. there chemistry has always been great together IMO. People shit on green book but that album is 10/10 from me. I love every single song on there. The blend of styles was amazing and they really tried. That was the last album I feel like they gave it there all. Abominationz is the only other album I like. after gb

Woulda loved to See what Madrox and Geno coulda did in a Studio together. That shit woulda realy been sumthin’ special.

I only liked one song on the green book. Hom Sha Bom.
I also didn’t like Mirror Mirror or freakshow. but ID was the first album I hated. I hated because it seemed like they were trying to hard to be hip hop.

I look at it like this…When I was 14 fifteen yrs ago I didnt give a Shit about Mixing and Mastering.Dope is Dope.I can forgive a artist that doesnt rock the most cleanest,Polished Dr Dre quality sound if the Content is strong enough to carry the Record. In other words. If ur spittin some crazy shit,I can forgive a slightly lackluster beat….Look at Future, hes doin the opposite.Dudes got beats that are clean as fuck but his lyrics are str8 up garbage. And hes gettin Big Money for that shit.

Agree with the different sounding part. Mixing bothers me because that’s what makes the song sound great. Listen to Man’s myth and mutant, there was some really shitty mixing on some songs. Psy was a “professional label” at that time. No excuses why that shit didn’t get mixed and mastered. Darkness cd cover looked like it was done in paint, and the album name was shit. I dono i guess time will tell. I just see this next album being some darkness part 2 shit, most of darkness just sounded like filler shit.
