I’m guessing we’re getting a new twiztid cd sometime this year, and with that being said what would you like to hear?

I honestly don’t want a continuation of the last album. Abominationz and The Darkness to me, are there attempt to get back to the “horrorcore” genre personally. And i’m not saying it’s bad, but personally I feel like twiztid’s best work is when they mixed it up. Some Rock, Some hip hop, and some story telling. I’ve been dying for them to return to that style, for example, the mixtape they released when they first left psy. The beats weren’t great and songs weren’t either, but they attempted to go in that direction. I honestly think twiztid is capable of pulling off something unbelievable if they break away from what they’re doing now. It’s getting old and I notice alot of people aren’t feeling them as much as they used to.

I just want something cool :/

I personally loved the darkness so I hope they continue being horrorcore. They do a little rock type shit on every album, they should keep it that way. Imo. Mostasteless, freakshow, the green book, independence day,the darkness. The cryptic collection albums were dope too.

Twiztid are better when they’re doing the wicked shit. Just sayin. Abominationz is worlds better than The Darkness.

I personally didn’t like abominationz or darkness. That’s not the style I prefer, I prefer green books style but I doubt we will ever get that again.

I just don’t want it to suck. They haven’t let me down yet. Well, I expected the Mutant Remix album to be a bit heavier, as I did with the original album. Like, every rock song predating those were very grungy Manson, Korn, Rob Zombie type songs then this album was very alternative rock, almost pop punk. Should probably have posted this in the Mutant thread.

But the lyrics on darkness sucked. And the beats were too dark sounding, no way you can say the album was all 3 styles combined. They were wayyyyyy to dark sounding, even the guitars.

I liked the lyrics. Down Here is probably one of my all time favorites by them now. Yeah, it was all three styles in one. They did have an almost consistant darker sound to it. But as most people have said, I don’t think The Darkness was nearly as dark as they tried to sell it as. I personally felt that Darkness had a piece of every style they have done in it. They even had that song that sounded like some OG House Of Krazees. Though, I can’t say anything sounded like Green Book on that album. I guess The Green Book is a much lighter sound in comparison. So I can see where you’re coming from.

lucems assessment is way more legitimate.

cmon… beats are ‘too dark’?  we still talkin bout the same album, the one called ‘the darkness’…?

dlf dont need a new twiztid album customized for his tastes;  what dlf needs, is a time machine.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

one major thing I’d like to hear is their vocals standing out a lot more like the way icp songs are mixed

I’m just waiting on The Moment You’ve All Been Waiting For or whatever it’s called. Mutant R&R was 50% hit and 50% miss for me, as well as Darkness and Blaze’s Casket Factory. CMON MOMENT T_T

I spend too much time on the Internet and make music sometimes. http://www.soundcloud.com/theresolution5

I feel like they’re trying too hard. the darkness sounds like an attempt of a horror movie (kind of) written into an actual cd. I’m not saying the cd itself sucks or/is bad. It’s not. I would much rather see that side of twiztid on an EP, keep it short and sweet. The reason why I say I loved green book so much is because it strictly had everything you wanted on there. Darkness sounds like they were trying to continue where abom left off but didn’t know what to do really. There was some really really good stand out tracks, especially down here as stated above. You know who I would really really REALLY wanna hear twiztid fuck with? Willpwr. He produces yelawolfs music, and has done a beat for tech n9ne, he made this beat.

I know I don’t want to hear that theres another album coming out later in the year called the moment you’ve all been waiting for. I’m sick of hearing that. lol.

I’d like to hear more of the horrorcore stuff darklotusfaygo seems to want them to step away from. I haven’t heard much real horrorcore from any of the big names in ages and it’d be nice to get something that actually makes me uncomfortable in a good way.

But you guys don’t understand, there idea of “horrorcore” in 2016, is talking about the boogieman, or some kind of corny story telling song. I don’t disagree with you guys but a full length LP with all horrorcore I don’t think twiztid can pull off. Just by the name of the album title you can tell they’re going to try to give us a darkness part 2 or some shit to it and i’m going to be disappointed again. I really, really hate the beats they go with now for new music. Not saying they aren’t good, or it sucks, but it’s not what I want to hear with twiztid.
