You know, low blood sugar is a muthafucka. I had blood work done and found out I had very high glucose, so like a genius, I completely cut out sugar....and turned into a complete dick. I don't know why I called an old lady a useless cunt because she was taking her time buying scratch tickets by the pound, but I did. I mean, sure, she had no regard for the line that had formed into 2 since her arrival, and was completely oblivious of my need for cigarettes and wraps while she kept asking which one "felt like a winner", and she kept making corny jokes, and......you know what, fuck that bitch. nah man,i appreciate your perspective i am just saying that my perspective is that he seems to be irresponsible with money, the average for studio engineers is about 27, now lets assume he was making less just for the sake of the "violent j's a snake argument", lets say 20, he was doing everything at psychopathic, so lets just conservatively say thats 40 hours a week, thats 1600 every two weeks which is a little less than what i make a week. He was also getting album royalties, production fees,merch royalites,performance fees, i wont even venture to guess how much that is, but do you see my point? the average house cast in detroit is 52,000, the average house cost in seattle where i live is 764,000......do you see why i find it suspicious that he couldnt survive off three paychecks?

TLDR: I told everyone years ago that Twiztid would make their own label, start a beef, it would be a thing for a little bit, and the scene would eventually move on fine without them. That has finally came full circle.

I tried tellin ninjas a few years before Twiztid left that they were going to be leaving within a year or two and no one was hearin it. Abominationz and H&H were their antennae albums to see if they could sell to nonJuggalos and still make money. One was an attempt to reach out to the "Hip Hop" crowd and the other was an attempt to reach out to the "Hot Topic" crowd. The "Hot Topic" crowd had the most potential for building a dedicated fan base out of so that was the direction that they went.

Then it was just a matter of being less involved with everything Psychopathic and more involved with their new, potential, fan base. When it's done like that the old fans slowly become a small percentage of the new fans. Which acts as both a safety net in case the new crowd doesn't work and shows their new fans what's expected of them as fans of the artist (ie: new fans don't know that it's "the shit" when Twiztid release yet another version of the Green Book at double the price of the original but has five fewer songs, a remix of two songs, a new shiny green slip-cover, and only comes out on vinyl. Some one needs to be there, other than the artist, to give them a reason to buy that.) Once that happens they could completely sever ties with the old fans/crowd because they/it become a hindrance to their new direction as artists. It didn't take a cork board full of pins and yarn to figure out either. It is literally the EXACT method that countless artists before them have used when they decide to change their "artistic direction". 

I tried saying all of this before it happened. However, because I was never that big a fan of Twiztid, I was dismissed as a "hater". Mind you that, at the time, I never hated their music or them. Just wasn't a big fan. I wasn't one of the Juggalos that they were talkin to in their music so of course I wasn't feelin em. At times they were pretty funny, every couple albums they would make a song or two that I liked, and the double-fetus Mostasteless is STILL fuckin killer, but apparently I was a hater and was just looking for a reason to hate them more. 

Once they were steady doin rock festivals and had a fan base outside of Juggalos they left and started acting like suburban white kids who ask their parents to buy them an "anarchy" shirt because their girlfriend listens to Green Day. They started acting like the person at the party who will drink one beer and then go around telling everyone how drunk they are. When they left they were the human equivalent of one of those cardboard milk cartons from school that wouldn't open the right way so you had to pick at it and pick at it to get it open. They were a fuckin fly that decided your head was a planet that they needed to orbit. They were acting like Trump on Twitter at 4AM after someone said that they didn't agree with him. They were little fucking bitches, basically, is what I'm trying to say. 

Once that happened both camps (Twiztid fans and Twiztid, Juggalos and ICP) started feeding the beef/egos on both sides and everyone lost their shit. Not realizing or caring that controversy is another way of sayin "record sales". Twiztid did exactly what they needed to do in order to re-establish themselves because they knew exactly how the market would move. Burn the bridge once you've established a home on the other side of it.   

Now that it's all over (presumably) and everything has settled; Twiztid did exactly what I said they would do. It's still obvious to everyone paying attention what they did/were doing. And, to bring the point of this home; ICP knew it too. They've probably seen the exact same routine happen more than any of us. That's what the whole "fuck the mainstream" thing was! Artists doing exactly what Twiztid did in order to get a fatter paycheck. And ICP handled it exactly how ICP have always handled that shit. Despite Juggalos bitching about the "beef", despite Twiztid fans essentially boycotting the clowns, despite all of that; ICP knew what was happening and they handled them the same way they always have with any one else doing it. Clown on them and move on. The actual round of applause that ICP were given at the seminar for saying "we're not working with them. Good luck to em" was the sound of Juggalos finally realizing the truth. Twiztid moved from underground to mainstream like a million acts before them and, presumably, after them. They are nothing more but another group of bitches who decided to change their "artistic direction". They don't deserve any "beef" for the same reason that Taylor Swift doesn't deserve it. It's over and Twiztid are just another footnote in Psychopathic's history.

Until the 20th anniversary of Tales from the Lotus Pod comes around or some shit and they all make bank off of us lol. 

  

2 problems with this. 1) I have yet to see a Twiztid fan boycott ICP. I've seen many ICP fans boycott Twiztid. 2) Twiztid is not mainstream.

However when you compare where they are right now and what they're trying to do to where Twiztid are and what they're trying to do, Twiztid is definitely the more "mainstream" of the two.

1) Again, I've yet to meet any of those Twiztid fans. Ever. But I know plenty of people on here and on twitter that hate Twiztid's guts. Met people that said ICP went soft and Twiztid are the only ones really doing wicked shit anymore, but not people that out right hate ICP's guts from the Twiztid camp.

2) Twiztid is not that well known. Twiztid is no where near being as well known as ICP. ICP is a house hold name by now. Twiztid is not. I see them trying to be a bit more commercial, but not really mainstream. ICP covered a Rae Sremmurd song, a Christina Aguilera song, and Micheal Jackson song. Their music lately has been trying to imitate much more commercial and poppy mainstream artists. If anything ICP has been trying to be mainstream, while bringing juggalos with them. Twiztid seem to be trying to go into the hot topic alternative crowd. The ironically mainstream anti-cultures that aren't self aware enough to realize how mainstream they are.

The thing about this is, these days the lines between mainstream and underground almost don't exist so there almost is no point in trying to make that distinction.
