So Paul quit smoking cigs, and Jamie lost the Phatso flub. I'm impressed at their personal ambition, frankly. Those are two of the hardest things for people to quit and stick to. I've always been slightly annoyed by Mono and his "playerhate me cause I smoke burn in hell" attitude and Madrox's "xx to the xl ain't watchin no weight" philosophy. They've gained more respect from me. Musically, all I've heard are a couple tracks off NN. Its different but its not horrible.  As far as their path currently, good luck to them and I'm sure their niche will solidify. Who cares what they do? They're doing what they enjoy.

Nope they couldn't.  It's too late lol.  Twiztid is getting huge without icp.

Hell yeah man, agreed. I was there all day yesterday; seminars, got autographs and shows after, great day & night. Twiztid killed it, one of the best shows ive seen em do. And they been doing great since they got out on their own, Ive been a fan & followed them since 99, first time I saw them was on "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers Tour". They are and have been for a while now been my favs. They have gotten better and better over the years with each release, the growth lyrically & delivery has been great, especially when they dropped "Abominationz" and followed it with "A New Nightmare". Best in the game right now, IMO. Much luv cool

Sidenote: I got my hands on a copy of "Casket Cutz" orange cassette

Frightfest was fucking dope!!!!! Everyone on stage absolutely killed it and then Twiztid tore the roof off the Palladium. Great setlist, a good mix of Halloween tracks and other classics. They didn't stick to playing songs from just one or two albums so that was dope.

Tech was there chillin and gettin drunk with his wife, got to meet him. He was definitely rockin out to Twiztid.

Can't say I saw much of the after party cause I was absolutely wasted by that point.

Got me that cassette, but they did sell out of the CD's. They still have quite a bit of tapes left for those of you going to Frightfest. Guess the $20 scared a lot of people away. It was the only piece of merch I bought so it wasn't that bad. Wasn't too impressed by anything else they were selling.

Jesus Christ. ICP fans hating on Twiztid for doing the exact same thing ICP does (to a much smaller extent that is). Whaaa...I had to pay $20 whole dollars for a limited pressing of a cassette....whaaa....I'm lost in the world over $20 dollars. You'd think none of you ever heard of a job. Twiztid has theirs, work hard at it, and can ask any damn amount they want for their art. When any one of you make it as a professional musician, which, let's face it, isn't going to be any time soon, you can placate your fans and only ask $1 for a tape. Musicians get into the profession to make nothing, right? We all specifically seek employment to make next to nothing; we sure wouldn't want to make anyone upset asking them to properly reimburse us for our time, now would we? Doing a quick search of companies who press cassettes, a chrome cassette run of 500 equates to roughly a dollar a tape. Now, add in let's say fifty cents to a dollar for orange tapes, then the cost to ship a big ass package of tapes across the country, and you have a tape that probably cost $5. Last time I checked, musicians need help touring. They don't, unless they are one of the spectacular "horrorcore" artists who post on this forum, walk to the show so they need help getting to the venue (setting up, etc). So you pay roadies and stage hands, unions, bus drivers.....the list goes on an on. Everyone takes a little "slice of the cheese". Not much of that cheese is left in the end. Considering no one is making money off of actual albums anymore (well, very few) musicians have to make their living off of touring and merch. Unless you can understand this, shut the fuck up and quit whining. Or, amazingly, just don't buy the things you deem too expensive and let someone else pick it up. Above all, quit being hypocritical when it comes to Twiztid selling limited edition merch then thinking it's fine and dandy when ICP does it. Hatchetman condoms, energy drinks, psychopathic ornaments.....yeah, that's much classier and underground than a limited cassette. On a side note, ICP has done horror conventions (haunted house tours too). That argument goes straight the fuck out the window, and is about as laughable as Tech and ICP saying "the indistry changed for us". They've also done numerous autograph sessions at wrestling conventions too, and will probably head that route when the other appearences wash out. George Lopez and the Soup only need ICP to come on one or two times before the novelty wears off.

No, I am not a "new school" Juggalo either; don't try to come back with anything about me not listening or being "down" for long enough to comment. Spinning ICP since 1995, way before I ever listened to Twiztid or HOK.
