I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia for hearing voices, mostly just random bullshit. but its all day everyday. Maybe I accept my angry and violent thoughts, but not my bullshit ones, lol. Also have seen a few demons, an angel, and had a 2 hour conversation with God. He convinced me that He exists, through pure logic, shit was awesome. 8 months in a psych ward, meds for over a year, not much changed other than getting used to the voices. So my views are a bit biased, even though I have done music, I tend to attempt to avoid the violent shit in my own lyrics, cuz its like putting myself in a mindset that I really shouldnt feed into. But sometimes it cant be helped. The truth is, for anyone with a real illness like this, they probably wouldnt be able to go on stage without being heavily medicated. So, as cool as it is for an outlet, its not very practical. So, maybe I should retract my statement, and say that, without people pretending to be something that they arent, I wouldnt have music to actually identify with. Cuz it would sound like mine, lol, poor quality cuz they can't be around people long enough to go to a studio, stuck with a homemade pop filter, and a shitty mic. What also sucks is when you hear your name in music, and can feel it talking directly to you, you kinda dont want to put anyone else through that kind of thing, cuz you never know what people would do when you trigger them in some unknown way. so for me personally, listening to shit like Black Crows by Dark Lotus, kinda fucks with my head too much. too many songs to list that I feel this feeling with. but if you check the name, you may think of a few. What would you think if it was real though?

This thread gets better and better lol... I'm appreciating it because my wife is in the hospital with pancreatitis and I had to call off one job to watch the kids. But I'll share my brothers demon stories..
One, when we lived in a shack in the country, he was maybe six I was maybe five, when he saw a thin legged male shadow appear on the bedroom wall. It hopped from left to right in a mocking way, and apparently he screamed like the world was ending. I was asleep beside him and never stirred. I've read similar accounts of people being assaulted by succubi or incubi etc, and the person beside them being in a trance.... eventually my dad came in to console him.
The next time, in a different house on the same spot of land, after we tore down the shack, my brother was in his early twenties. He had recently been diagnosed as schizoaffective, bipolar, you name it. Well its maybe two in the morning, and he had insomnia. He receives a random call on the house phone. Its an older woman asking for someone, a wrong number. My bro says "no, no one is here by that name". He then said that the ladies voice changed to an inhumananly high pitch that terrified him. She said "okay! Well okeee dokeee!!" And he dropped the phone and was so scared he was paralyzed? Ever get like that? It means he was probably more frightened than he was at seeing the shadow at age six. At least then he could scream.
Like I said, he was mentally ill. I don't believe nor completely disbelieve in demons. I know that there are unexplainable things and alternate dimensions. Who knows though.

Yeah, they try to pass it off as night terrors, then medicate you. It seems that the western world treats these things as mental illness, I met quite a few in the psych ward with similar stories. I took seroquel and respiradol for years, and it didnt do shit but make me want to not talk about anything. That whole pulling thing, I have experienced that as well. They are usually called out of body experiences, but more than any medication, after I talked to God, and he explained the whole reality thing, I accepted Jesus Christ, and thank God that I havent seen a demon since. that shit was happening like once a year, and I am glad to say that even when I have left my body, there has been nothing waiting for me. As for the thing about ICP, Twiztid, Blaze, ABk, Big Hoodoo, all referencing me in quite a few songs, it all has to do with this notion of me trying to explain that God is real. I made a video explaining some stuff, but its long. Through dealing with this shit, I have found a few ways that may actually help with mental illness. 1. I talked to a taoist kung fu master, and he told me that he once had a student that saw a floating head everywhere he went. He taught the guy Tai chi and Chi Gong, and his "symptoms" disappeared. He stopped doing it, and it returned. I have been trying to figure out a way to do the research to see if that works, but finding funding has been tough. I get paid to be crazy, but since it's a fixed income, its been pretty hard trying to find a way to get some money up and see if that works for me, or to even grab up a few other people with "mental illnesses" and do real research. I even made a cd, called diary of a madman, to try to start a non profit organization from the proceeds to look into this shit, and a few other things that I have come across that may help All People with mental illnesses, like Iboga, the alkaline diet, and Life between life regression. But, I havent found a studio within 100 miles of my house, and my sound quality blows pretty hard, cuz im on a laptop with audacity and a usb mic, no mixing or mastering er even eq'ing ability. Any suggestions? I will give you three song titles to see what you think, Dark Lotus Black Rain, Tech N9ne It's Alive, Twiztid Thats Wicked. There are more, three are insanely obvious if you read my previous posts in this thread, and read my name. I talked to ABK about it, when I bought a VIP pass, and I told him that they are talking to me, and that I am the Raven, and he said he couldnt talk there, he left me with the fun little riddle of "The red moon bleeds tomorrow" and if you listened to Dark Lotus Black Crows, you will here how he referenced a song that they are in fact talking to me. So, now that you think I'm crazier, any suggestions? Also, you may be asking yourself, why the fuck would they talk to me in their music, well I came across a story a long time ago that said they were all in a field, and a bunch of crows flew through the sky and spelled the words, mirror the raven, which prompted Thy Raven's Mirror, to be a song on the Wraith. Again, your advice could include, go take your meds, but, been there done that, didnt stop the songs or the voices. Also, there is a very specific feeling like a chemical running through your body that makes you leave your body, It's almost like zanax, when I feel that feeling, I still do my best to not sleep, until it passes. I send my idea to the National institute of mental health, even wrote the president, no one seems to give a shit that "mental illnesses" can be cured and quite cheaply. I gave you my answers, I suppose if you have the money, you can do the research yourself, but wouldnt it be crazy if a schizophrenic Juggalo cured mental illness? I think so.

I would never presume to know what you are going through. I've had my share of weird experiences too but all mine I have found are explained by science. If you find something that works for you, do it. The mind is very individualized. The brain, on the other hand, is not so much so. With mental illness of the brain, drugs may be the way, or maybe to avoidance of drugs is. With things of the mind, you'll have to find your own path. My wife looks at ABK as somewhat shamanistic so maybe his words can help.
Wish I could help or give you advice other that "find what works for you". But that's the best I got. And there have been plenty of people with "mental illness" that have gone on to do extraordinary thing. It may not be a handicap, but a gift.

Lol, not lookin for mental health advice, like I said, I found some potential cures, was referring to the music, or any opinions on what to do about the fact that, if you actually listen to those songs I mentioned, you will hear a very clear theme. heres a song I did with Justinsayne N8v, as I explained my quality is poor, so I apologize in advance, but Justinsayne, as usual, pretty fucking sweet. Do you think I could release songs with this level of crap quality, in order to try to fund my research, or do you think I should leave the music to the professionals, and find another avenue, let me know if you want me to send you some more songs, to see what your thoughts are, It seems hard to post music here, and have not released anything from my current album in the works. a nd again, what do we consider mental illness? Racism? Child molesters? Alchoholics, pot heads? serial liars, and cheaters, people who are always on the hunt for sex? people who are pissed off for no reason? we can easily say that "hallucinations" are illnesses of the mind, but why the religious theme? God, Satan, demons, angels? My honest opinion is that we are all psychic to some degree, and it becomes like a muscle, and if we dont have protection, ie Jesus, Tai Chi, a few other things i mentioned previously, then I think things can fuck with us, and THEN the confusion sets in. you normally hear how people kinda lost it, AFTER they saw some shit, and its the same with me. Don't you think its possible that by having an experience like seeing a demon, could fuck with you, when no one tells you that they believe you, and that its all in your mind? Depression then setting it, feeling outcast, the simple lack of belief in our culture I think adds to the problems of people who see things and have no one to go for real help, drugging people and telling them its all in your head, defies thousands of years of religious experiences, and if you really look at it, it happens all the time with physical ailments too, you ever try to get a cat scan or an mri? They act like you dont need it, then tell you you are chasing drugs, and when you finally get someone to look at you, the problem is worse cuz its gone undiagnosed. Here's that song

2) dayton family - bootleg said in an interview with FLH that they were gonna reach out to twiztid to put out their next record
3) smokehouse junkiez or that group that just did the this way to hell tour with twiztid that nobody really heard of before they did the tour (cant remember their name for the life of me).
