I think the song is probably the best part of the vid.. I like that they switched between make-up & non..
it's very hard to do the random extras singing & NOT have it look corny... I'm not 100% sure they accomplished that.. most of the girls look like actual twiztid fans, while most of the dudes look like theyd never bump 'em..
it feels more like an attempt to crossover than a showcase of the diverse family..

The reason I listen to Twiztid is because of their diversity of genres and ability to craft a traditional vocal melody. They might not be as fast as Tech or Eminem but honestly, I don't listen to either of those guys. I don't listen to Kanye or Kendrick or Twista or Busta Rhymes, either. They're all either focused on going fast over a beat OR being "self absorbed and full of shit just like some pampers." Twiztid doesn't just rap over a beat. Twiztid beats sound like actual songs with melodies and they craft vocal melodies over the top of those songs and their lyrical content is leagues above the rest. It isn't about being emo or rock or rap or whatever anyone wants to call it. It's about making good songs. There have always been elements of Twiztid that represent all genres and even if they themselves think they're adhering to a certain genre on any particular song, they can't help but let the rock and the soul and the funk bust out on any given one. This song is totally Twiztid and anybody who thinks it's anything particularly new or groundbreaking for them hasn't really been listening.

Having said all that, there are plenty of Twiztid songs I don't listen to, mainly the ones that are strictly about smoking weed, honestly, because they hold no philosophical value. And I think on this one, I would largely leave it out of any Twiztid playlist I decided to make, but it's not a bad song and it's certainly not anything too different than lots of things they've done before.

i would compare generation nightmare to heartbroken and homicidal. both albums contain a mixture of rock tracks and hip hop tracks. all this talk about twiztid selling out is bullshit. freek show is eternally my favorite twiztid album and it has rock tracks on it. back on topic tho the magic spellz video alright. i agree the song isnt drastically different from other shit they have done. as far as the pure wicked shit. i think they got us covered when that venomous 5 comes out. they gone bring the wicked shit with that joint.

Dont like this at all. Id personally dump half the songs on Generation Nightmare. This 2001 rap/rock shit isnt for me anymore and it sounds dated as fuck.
Just my opinion though, at least 2.1k people like it according to Youtube so they obviously have a fanbase for this type of stuff but the more they move in this direction, the more they lose my attention. Shame.

New perspective: deep within Paul's tar-filled chasm is a beating heart.. contradictory to his facade of "the bitter, rough-throated serial killa man"... within lies a man that would do anything for his best buddy in the whole wide world; Mr. Spaniolo himself! Jamie always wanted to be a new incarnation of Mike Shinoda (sp?) from Linkin Park... and now is his chance to go for it all! With the spiritual guidance from, naturally, big brother Monoxide Middle-Aged! Keep reaching for that star, homies!
In more seriousness, it is just fine. Just not for me anymore. I'll keep checking in on them until I die, probably. But I haven't heard enough to purchase an album since Abominationz was on that PSY $3 CD sale. Some great tracks here and there, though, for real. If they took and made a double album of everything they released after PSY, the best tracks, that would be worth a purchase.

Tell me this video is even remotely interesting. Phlegm in the windpipe's video was tight.
They dropped the ball in this video.
I liked it. It got's message across. It was shot like one of those PSA commercials meant to reflect that they're fan base isn't just the stereotypical junkie and how important this music is to their fans being their outlet and escape from their diverse problems. It's basically saying that they aren't going anywhere and no matter how hard people try they can't take their legacy and impact away from them. Gave me a new understanding of what the song was about. It's not the best most amazing thing, but it's definitely not nearly as trash as it's made out to be.
People keep saying how the people don't look like Twiztid fans and I instantly thought of you because you don't fit the stereo type at all. Like, even the juggalos expect themselves to be lighting up meth pipes and wallowing in degeneracy.
For the record, I only type 'quit riding J's dick' out of satire.

I think when they say "they don't look like twiztid fans" they mean that they don't seem that interested in the music or into being in the video.
I light up meth pipes all the time. Gotta be high energy all the time for the students! Only playing, but apparently meth use is huge in North Korea.
J admits he's a Minuteman, so you can't really ride his dick for very long anyway.

Like, some of us thrive while taking degeneracy in stride. I held a chunk of meth in my hands last month when my dealer neighbor was here having some delicious coffee and trying to draft me to the dark side. Guess he didn't get the memo that I run that bitch. Somehow I managed to maintain sobriety while making him laugh (and listening to him talk about the upcoming GOTJ). Turns out my unscripted reality series Coffee With Methheads looks pretty fucking Hollywood:
Maybe Twiztid will learn a few things about showmanship from the Houston gutter.

I can appreciate a video from either side, pick highs and lows, and like certain aspects of each.
Didnt Nickelback pull this same shit with 'I Wanna be a Rockstar', minus the celebrity appearances? I can dig it personally because it is a music video and from my pov we dont get enough of those from either side. Its a listentoable song, its a video that we dont normally get, fuck yeah!
'Its not the size of the boat, its the motion in the ocean' is a common quote. Seemingly for VJ and myself it should be more to the affect of 'we started at the same time, i just beat you to the finish line'. Also ill include my personal favorite 'I'm normally in and done before she can say "wrong hole", high 5, go to sleep. I guess it all depends on perspective. Either way it boils down to hold on and enjoy the ride temporarily or not.
Sorry I have nothing on meth, I know nothing other than what ive learned from Breaking Bad. Many kudos to Krunks ghetto ass. Try Bravo channel? They have real housewives of just about every major city. At least 4 that im aware of. Theres even a ghetto housewives of midgetdome (sp).If not maybe try the interventions television show. Mrs. Krunk you may be onto something.
Yeah bitches, im that short gentleman mentioned in that youtube video.
And the very nice, level headed guy from that other youtube video.
