Fucking great album. Horrorcore  with some east coast style flow. HQ production. Got an old school Violent J tone.    Especially the song dead. Reminds me of For the Maggots of off The Ringmaster. Im glad for free monthly subscriptions as my broke ass couldnt afford the plastic wrap around the CD case. Killer album though!!

Dead sounds more like The Dead One 2018 to me. Bought the album digitally on amazon a few days ago after reading the glowing reviews here and have been bumping it to, from, and at work. Gotta be honest, I think this is the best thing MNE has ever released. Highlights for me are Belial, Dead, Skin, Pipebomb, and Going to Hell (especially the bit at the end), but every song is really solid and the only track I foresee myself consistently skipping is Coming Soon. Dope album.

Honestly the album sounded like the same old generic horrorcore shit to me. The same Pro Tools beats with an occasional guitar thrown in the mix and a guy purposely trying to make his voice sound gruff. Not bad....Not good, just average.

To me Q Strange was the master of the east coast horrorcore sound.  Boom bap with some horror mixed in, kinda like Sutter Kain.

anyway....Ima have to bump this album with headphones this weekend.  I'm diggin all the great reviews.  I always thought we needed a new Bedlam!  HAHA

Listened to this album exclusively on repeat for a 12 hour shift today. Still dope.

Joey Black and Billy Obey are both pretty food, both with very different and distinct styles and strengths. Lee Carver is definitely the strongest of the three all around though. Dude is dope.

I for some reason can't unhear Madrox's hook on Venomous as "Billy O'baby, carbon monoxide" etc...

Also who produced this shit? Ain't got no liner notes to read

I never heard of this group at all until just very recently. In fact, I have no fuckin clue how to pronounce the name of the group. ust doing a little sampling of the album right now, it does sound pretty dope. My first impression is that these dudes are likely much more influenced by ICP than Twiztid.

After a few listens, while decent, the album comes off as pretty generic horrorcore to me. These guys are like the white version of the Flatlinerz, just not as original. There are definitely a couple standout tracks:

The Parish

Axe is Family

Dead (Basically a remix of The Dead One IMO)

Blasphemous

Pipe Bomb

Into the Fire

Unfortunately, I missed their performance at Fright Fest so I've yet to see them live. I will continue to spin The Almighty though and look forward to what AXE has in store down the road. I still think they have a lot of potential (maybe the most on MNE), but there still is a good deal of polishing to be done.
