I for one had never heard of these guys until they signed with MNE and I think they're dope as fuck. Y'all a bunch of haters. I think the music is dope and I love the theatrical appearance they have. That Halloween 365 video is awesome too.

If it was Psychopathic that had signed them i guarantee all these people who are hating would love them.

More so just people having an opinion that's all.

I doubt Psychopathic would sign a group like this. That being said, ICP is more concerned about keeping Psychopathic just ICP these days. Not like they've had much luck signing new acts since Twiztid left. Even Ouija Macc seems to be running his own ship, I don't think he's had a release on Psychopathic since Gutterwater in 2017.

Fair enough homie. I'm just used to seeing people quick to dismiss a talented rapper/group that is signed with MNE purely because they hate Twiztid. As for your comments regarding Psychopathic artists I agree completely. I'd love to know what's going on at Psy. Like what the fuck happened to Hoodoo and is Lyte still signed.

Their masks look much better than the AXE masks.

That's all I can say.

I do think the visuals and the appearance of them looks cool. Dispite me not feeling the track "Halloween 365" I am gonna buy the album for the record. Gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Belive it or not I hated AMB at one point and trashed them.

I have accepted Lyte has been cut because of his involvement with MNEs Underground Avengers. Which is shitty because I love his music and for once Psychopathic found a fresh new guy with no gimmick needed in the post Twiztid era. Then just cold shouldered him.

ABK is never gonna release Shape Shifter

Big Hoodoo is just doing his own thing.

It's just gonna be ICP sadly, sad to say we won't see a magical era like from 2000 to 2012. As long as ICP can pump out decent music I'm okay, I know they'll never dethrone the First 6. I did enjoy FFF which was my favorite ICP album since Bang Pow Boom.

Unfair to say people only dislike them because they're on MNE. There are probably people like that out there, sure, but not nearly as many as you'd assume.

If these guys were unveiled on FLH front page or video of the week or some banner advertisement or even an individual article WITHOUT TWIZTID OR MNE BEING INVOLVED, 90% of us wouldn't even click it. Admit it. Perhaps the younger crowd who are into the whole style that the group presents would. But they would barely make a dent in your brain stem without Blaze and Twiztid being involved. So in actuality, some hypocrisy is being revealed here.

I have never heard of them, either. I did not enjoy a bit of the songs. I will give them another chance. Why? Truthfully, because Twiztid are pushing them. Will I enjoy them? Probably not. Will I purchase anything from them? No.

They will likely receive as many attempts from me as Gorilla Voltage did... which was about 3 or 4. Call it a self-defeating prophecy lol... but I am aware that they likely do not possess the things that intrigue me with other artists. At this point, if this is some of the best they are throwing at us, then I'm decided.

I hope Twiztid makes lots of money with these people. More power to you.

It's good to know you're gonna get the album. I already got mine pre-ordered and I can't wait to hear it in its entirety. And I agree about Lyte he is dope as fuck. The fact he is supposed to be in the UK for the juggalo weekend along with the rest of the MNE artists kind of says it all really and it's a shame Psychopathic let him go. It's crazy how Psy haven't release anything new from ABK since Medicine Bag. That was 10 years ago now so I yeah I also doubt Shapeshifter is ever gonna happen. I thought Hoodoo was cool so I do hope they haven't let him go either.

Its just because I see so much hate for Twiztid and anyone they put on nowadays I tend to believe folks are hating for the sake of it and are not judging the music fairly. And I admit I don't really keep my ears to the underground except for the usual Psychopathic/MNE labels so if they introduce us to a new artist I will most definitely check them out. I think AXE are dope as fuck and I remember seeing their name being mentioned here and there before they signed with MNE and I'm ashamed to say I never even bothered to check them out. But once Twiztid signed them I gave them a listen and then they quickly became my favourite rappers.

Tbh ninja, I do recall a lot of hate on blahzay rose and cold187um and both were psychopathic, so I do believe if ICP signed them it would be the same reaction, I don’t think it’s because of twiztid related.

The Blahzay Rose point is a good argument. I hate to say it, but lots of that is also probably from the type of internet people who hate on female game producers or even an all-female Ghostbusters cast lol. I personally never got into her but she is by no means a horrible artist.

Cold 187um got hate due to the recycling of beats for a lot of it, for his album. But he likely wouldn't have gotten much love even if Mike E. Clark made a fantastic production for him. Cold 187um is part of an era of hip-hop that primarily only guys like me seem to find cool anymore. I work with cats younger than me a lot of the time, and they straight up recoil at the OG hip-hop legends. This is not speaking for all of them, as one guy is open to the beauty of Tupac, Geto Boys, Beastie Boys and Fugees type stuff. But the majority of early twenties listeners are seemingly into horrible (fact, not opinion, not sorry) mumble rap. Now I'm NOT saying all mumble rap is horrible (calm down, Lucem), I'm saying that the artists they listen to are on the bottom rung of the quality ladder.

All that being said, very good point. People hated on lots of Psychopathic artists. I've seen like TWO people praise The Purple Gang. Most hate it.

It's almost as if people DO have minds of their own sometimes! Not everyone is a (blech...ahem.. here we go..) "sheepalo".

I dont dig newer Twiztid much at all, but I am aware of their talent and I figure that they at least can recognize some semblance of money-making qualities in an artist (talented or not so much). They run a music label, I don't. Then again, I have a friend who runs their own label, and their artists all are whack to me.

So far I have tried to enjoy GMO Skee and others, and have mostly failed. I am bummed that I don't like Lex the Hex more, as he is a New Yorker like me. AXE is solid but not something I can get into at my age. Teenage OMD would have liked em more.

Its all relative. Like what you like. There is a lot less bias in the real world than this microcosm internet world, I've learned.

I dont get all the hating anyway. When you dont like an artist, then skip it, whats the deal? On the other hand (and as much as Im pro psy biased) I think I kind of understand the hate Blahzey got. The promotion was a joke, considering J bragging about his sexcapades with her in total ignorance. Despite its stupidness, a new female rapper seems to struggle a lot more than a new male rapper kid. The introduction of Blahzey Roze could have been done wayyy better, the way they done it was just bad. Personally, I dug the EP and would have been interested in an album as a whole.

third here. Even though there were definitely forgettable tracks on that record, I enjoyed the album overall. Especially Mary Jane and Eternity Missed are some dope tracks. I would have loved to see what they were about on another record. But whatever.

Dude, did you give Beyond Redemption, especially Broken any chance? That shit is fire.

As far as it concerns OH THE HORROR, the songs I heard didnt catch my interest. And I think their name ist stupid. Is there anything more to the name that I dont get?

I've seen dislike for every artist in both psy and mne. The good shit sticks around regardless. I still pull out Boondoxs The Harvest every once in a while because that shit was dope. When it came out though I was like ehhhh Idk about it bruh.

Blahzay Roze isn't good music. The Purple Gang wasn't good music. This Band from the thread title aint good music. Opinion or not, nobody is gonna be dusting off this shit in 10 years because it isnt memorable.

For what it's worth, I feel like blahzay was unjustly shit on because she was introduced, not as a talent, but as violent J's new girlfriend.

Anyone else remember that long ass post J made on, I think it was a hatchh Harald? Maybe it was just ICPs website? About his first time meeting Becky and how he felt like a nervous little kid?

That's the kind of shit that turned a lot of juggalos off her shit, made her feel like she was on the label so I could get laid, not because he believed in her music.

And well, I think history proved that true.

I nearly forgot about the Purple Gang. That was so disappointing. Really wished they would have left Sugar Slam off the project but Violent J was just itching to get her on a project more, after her minor vocals on Mighty Death Pop and even on Hells Pit. Honestly glad her full album never came out.

Violent J shouldnt have let Blahzay just have a contract. Sure he inspired her, but since then she's done really nothing other then a few new releases, and her Instagram just promotes her Onlyfans. Not exactly showing much drive.

As for MNE, AXE and G Mo have been the best signings. Gorilla Voltage had potential but my issue with them was their music choruses suffered from the same issue I have with ABK, just to simple and repeatative. Also the production had nearly zero switch ups just a beat looped that got old. Those dudes could rap like hell though.

Agreed. Put those guys on some old Mike E. Clark beats or even any Psychopathic Rydas beats and it would be amazing. Hell, put them on a Necro or Buckwild beat and they would kill it. Hell, have the Snowgoons make a boom bap album for them. They'd fucking murder those beats!  Clockworc and Grey were a great contrast to each other. And Grey could play guitar due to being in punk bands in his past.

Ahh yes, one of the many times J has contradicted himself over the years. How many times did he use to say he knew juggalos didn't care about what record label ICP was on, they just wanted ICP. Well did he really think we care about what hoe he's fuckin? Goes to show how little he probably thought of her at the end of the day. He never put an article about Sugar Slam online like that.

Or when they pushed Project Born way back when, they flopped, and J realized Juggalos didn't want every artist they could spit out. I remember when Blahzay got announced at GOTJ '16. Everyone at the main stage was just looking at each other like WTF?

And the last 10 posts in this thread goes to show, that no one really gives a fuck about this new band on MNE lol.

Give these oh the horror guys a break. They’re  just kids trying to make music. Now if Twiztid posted a story a couple months back detailing monoxide’s sexcapades with a new boy toy he met online and talked about how it was the hottest sex and the kid blew his mind it’d be different. Then all of a sudden this group shows up and their music was 100% written by Twiztid I could compare the 2. I personally am not into their style but I’m not gonna hate on them for pursuing their dreams and actually making it this far.
