For Psy's take on me as a fine artist and painter, see "A Family Underground." In the film, I basically give a little speech about how I don't want to get sued for copyright infringement for my paintings and original art, which is funny, given the fact that I'm on film (with a bad haircut). Since then, the clowns have been nothing but supportive of me as an artist, because (1) I will never do t-shirts (except when I design for Psy or other artists/entities directly) and (2) I will never do charms or bootleg merch. And anytime I make a move, I run it by them. I consider them my mentors and friends and keeping the line of communication open is frankly just good business. I also do not use any copyrighted images or photos. Everything I do is original, albeit inspired by the juggalo world 9 times out of 10. On top of that, the Dark Carnival Tarot and accompanying booklet is award-winning and highly recognized in the tarot and scholorly communities (outside the juggalo community). It brings a new insight into the juggalo world for outsiders and older folks--a MUCH NEEDED positive take, given the FBI business and profiling that has occured. The message of the tarot speaks for itself. Now, on a personal tip, lately I have found myself defending my work via social media. I have a few haters. I even have a juggalo stalker! (Which I suppose comes with the territory...She even writes Scottie D!) But anytime I become defensive of my work with tarot, it is only to preserve and protect THE MESSAGE of my work--there is no ego in this. And the message is love, spirituality, awareness of greater workings, gratitude, and appreciation for all the Creator's blessings--hence the name "Dark Carnival." So...that's my spiel. Lol. As many of you have noted, recently there have been a few online vendors who were shut down for using copyrighted photos and logos. Some have taken to social media with their complaints. A few have come to me about it directly, since we are all artists here. I have encouraged these vendors to work with Psy directly to establish boundaries and parameters on what they can or cannot do. I frankly feel it is absolutely bad business to run right to social media and complain without initiating a conversation and attempting to establish boundaries first. And to be frank, those who run right to the internet without initiating a business conversation deserve their slap on the wrist. There is gratitude, appreciation, and humility in the face of those who innovate and put you on, and then there is...the opposite. And I suppose this opens up a larger conversation about Twiztid, who gets on Twitter and says things like "Let's see how many people we can take with us!" (in reference to ICP) or who gets up on stage in GroupThink mentale screaming about how "THEY are fucking UP!" with the crowds screaming (also in reference to ICP) amid other insults and rally cries. At the end of the day, there's nothing wrong with their solo endeavor. I applaud it. However, it's not WHAT you do, but HOW you do it. The ego. The insults. The pain of forgetting. This is bad business and bad friendship. At the end of the day, whenever you walk away from a business undertaking or a friendship or a partnership as artists or ANYTHING...even at the end of one's own life...the only words on our lips should be "Thank you." Gratitude. That's how I live MY life. And Twiztid's music has suffered immensely as a result of this karma. A New Nightmare is really poorly executed, all external issues aside. We gotta get back to the music. All of us. That's what's most important. Less ego and more artistry.

You're entitled to your opinion. I didn't see those alleged "jabs," so no need to "remind me." ;)

But IMO Twiztid ain't schooling it. I gave A New Nightmare a poor review here, of my honest opinion. That's what started this thread, remember? I really dislike the record. That's all I was saying.
