I don't think their were any direct inspirations at all but Role Models sounds like a subject matter matter ICP does. Not the rapping style, beat, just the subject matter.

I actually thought that EXACT same thing. I don't think at all that FFF was any sort of inspiration for Twiztid, but Role Models is definitely something ICP would do.

speaking of Role Models; but there's a part I find ironic.

In listing off things celebrities have done wrong, Jamie mentions "Tyler said he like boys".

But, given the current political and social climate; twiztid saying something homophobic like that WILL disappoint their fans.

not that I'm someone who goes out of their way to defend Twiztid these days and I'd have to listen to the song again but if I'm remembering right Madrox's verse was more or less about just weird shit famous people have been in the headlines for...didn't think he was necessarily condemning them just saying how crazy the world has become when someone like Tyler who years ago was considered pretty homophobic in his music is now in fact out of the closet and proclaiming himself to be gay...Mono's verse seemed to be more directed at straight up creeps in positions of power

the general point is that the world we live in is a pretty crazy one and even the people we look up to are imperfect, have their own demons/issues, and are also involved in fucked up shit...so again I don't think he's saying Tyler being into dudes is some disgusting/repulsive shit but rather just commenting on how weird it is that someone who made their name like he did being as offensive and controversial as he could be is able to turn around a few years later and admit he's been in the closet all along...I think a lot of people were probably caught off guard by Tyler making that announcement or w/e and that's really all he means with that...then again Bizarre and King Gordy have beef with Tyler so who the fuck knows...also mentions Demi ODing again...and what Malcolm is he referring to who's a bigger dick than Tommy Lee? lol

song seems pretty dated and clearly was recorded last year...they could have updated the lyrics a bit...seems petty to bring up XXX allegedly punching that girl when he's since been murdered himself and the track as a whole kind of comes off as some holier than thou type shit to me personally

Klown turned out to be right on this one. What a solid fucking album.

The rock songs are even starting to grow on me in the context of the entire album.

Absolutely love this one.

If that is his point; like I said, he could've made it a LOT better. He also could've positioned it somewhere NOT immediately before mentioning a rapper assulting a pregnant woman.

that said; I asked on twitter who Malcolm was and Mono(it wasn't signed by jAMIE) said it was "an actor we met". Let the speculation begin.

"I'm a tad Pac, you a tadpole"

Monoxide really likes comparing himself to 2Pac in songs for someone who has absolutely nothing in common with 2Pac other than just generally rapping lmao

that being said the fact that Twiztid is on a song with Raekwon which I just came across the other day (even if was a collaboration for some other guys project which was like a compilation thing) is wild to me lol

i liked the outtakes album better than the main album.. just like with FFF..

the skirts were kinda boring but the songs started hype..

i liked sick mind, magic spellz, skit 17, let it flow, & strike best.. it's hard to pick a general fav..

i think the album is more consistent & listentoable than FFF but FFF's highlights standout more and are better..

Twiztid are great at rappin & blending in seamlessly with the music.. they really have to drop the beat & rap slower like mono does several times to catch what theyre gettin at.. it seems like a lot of juggalos rap similarly, where they focus on delivery more than lyrics..

i think it's good but not great.. They already have songs like "Alone" & "Respirator" that would appeal more to a vans type crowd..

I've listened through the album a few more times. As my first impression told me, this album certainly is much better than their last one, which I thought was almost entirely wack. A first for Twiztid, at least to my tastes.

I appreciate the diversity in the music, I don't have any issue with them doing some rock songs here and there. They aren't always the best songs but I get it. I will say this though, there are several tracks on this album that have some really weak hooks. There's some great ones, too, but there are a few songs that have some really thoughtless hooks. I'd say ICP has always crushed Twiztid in hooks although Twiztid are the better rappers.

I also hate to nitpick, but I still think the "50 shades of hate me line" that kicks off Magic Spellz is like the gayest fuckin shit I've ever heard. It doesn't ruin the song for me, but it's laughable. I played it for my wife (who is also a Twiztid fan) and we both have been laughing about that shit for days now.

I love Twiztid's new album.

I have to say, both ICP and Twiztid have put out some of their best work in years.

Big thing I like about Twiztid's new album is that through out both their and ICP's entire careers they've almost always found ways to reinvent their sound on every album so each album has it's own unique vibe. The past two albums didn't have that and seemed like they were trying to replicate the vibe of Abominationz. This one definitely has it's own sound that stands out in their catalog just like they used to.

I listen to the rap portions and the rock portions separately and they’re are hard skip songs on they’re for me(young wicked feature and phlegm in the windpipe).

The rap portions sound like wicked and abominations had a love child that roundhouse kicks people in the ears.

i will say I bump FFF, COX and Gutterwater far more

I'd say the album as a whole sounds like a mix of Abominationz, WICKED, and Heartbroken & Homicidal...like most of Wreck reminds me of some H&H shit but Mono's part at the end reminded me of Woe Woe off WICKED so yeah there's a bit of everything...Don't Be Hatin sounds like something off Phatso lol wouldn't be that bad without Wicked's verse and that awful chorus which gets annoying as fuck before the song's even over (let alone trying to listen more than once)
