Is anyone else getting sick of everything Twiztid puts out being a "Super Limited and Rare Exclusive Collectible?" I'm a collector, but I can't keep up with all these re-release vinyls of tracks I already own. Perhaps they should instead focus on putting out quality NEW music (not remixed albums) that are accessible to everyone who wants to hear/own it. Anyone agree?

I must admit... I've been vocal about this too.
I have 2 collections:
My Psychopathic shit and my Majik Ninja shit...
I've seriously considered stop collecting Majik Ninja shit because of this very issue.
Once they're gone I gotta cop 'em from ebay and the price is usually increased 3 fold.
So fuck that.
Twiztid is still the shit, they just make complicated business decisions sometimes.
Some people like this but I'm not made outta money.

Totally agree with that. And it seems like there's a new exclusive every week (same shit, different color or whatever). It's only "exclusive" because they say it is. I bet they have their own Ebay account to resell their own shit for more money. If we stop making it a collectible they'll have no choice but to go back to putting out actual records (which they are good at or I wouldn't be here bitching lol). I hope someone from their camp reads this and they hold off on the "exclusives" for awhile.

I don't mind the exclusive vinyls, especially the full albums. It makes sense that they would only print a few because vinyl isn't big among ninjas. I stopped getting the 7" singles, unless its only on the vinyl (embarrassed, dojo). If there is anything that should be frequently made, its the music itself. But the merch has gotten out of hand...
I really hate all the "one day only" shirts, the vault (aka twiztid garage sale) and now they have "fam appreciation month" that came out of nowhere. We appreciate your money? They also have a twiztid Iphone and android charger... that is like borderline selling out, you have to pay and make a deal with the company to use those names.
Its getting silly, I have lost respect for them as individuals and don't believe they are quite as down with us as we are with them. But honestly, its whatever. I love twiztid, their music will be great regardless if they only care about money and as long as they keep making good music they can focus on selling shit to juggalos all they want.

actually, bitchy or not, wonka is generally a staunch twiztid supporter. i wouldnt quite say hes at 'dickrider' level... but fairly near it.
im surprised he didnt end his post with:
wonka169 did not say [but if he had, it woulda been damned consistent]
you go twz.!! take that money!
awfully paranoid, arent you?

I've pretty much lost interest in Twiztid altogether. Alot of it due to the treatment towards their fans and Mono's snide comments aimed at ICP. Then there was the 6 second leak of the "Who You Lookin' 4" music video drama here on faygoluvers, MNE saying because of the leak, they weren't going to put out the video. Like really? Over 6 fucking seconds?
I've said this a couple times now, but I've been venturing other places for music as of late. Nothing from PSY or MNE. Allthough I'm eager for Big Hoodoo's "Asylum"!

that stuff bugs me a lil bit. not enough to lose interest altogether, but i sure dont care much about theirs tweeters and periscopes and meet n greets and on and on. nor their seminar, for that matter.
doesnt exactly motivate me to send them money, either.

that, i take as an actual april fools joke.
the only reason i do, is cuz scottied says it was. i thought it was some shit at the time, but i doubt scottie would front. and, i mean, people do pull april fools shit...
Allthough I'm eager for Big Hoodoo's "Asylum"!
so am i. like, i was listening to his shit the other day, and realized that im genuinely eager.
if someone had told me three years ago that id be more interested in what hoodoos doin than twiztid, idve written it off.

I was literally thinking about this as I drove an hour to pickup The Dojo. Never again. Why do I even want it? I don't own a record player (what am I, a hipster?) and can't listen to it. If Twiztid wants to limit this release to 1000 copies, it's probably not that good and they don't think they'd sell much more than that. Is it just to brag that I have it over people who weren't able to get it? I don't even have any friends who listen to this type of music. So I guess I got it to brag to strangers on the internet. Something doesn't seem right here...
Sorry just thinking out loud, I guess.

in the case of about two, three hundred of that thousand... probably.
funny thing is, the vinyls are actually sumn i have, briefly, considered getting. last year i got my turntable back after, i dunno, a really long time... but i have no use for it.

Funny how time changes shit like opinions and interests. Tragic how it can change people into something you'd never thought they'd be. Makes you look at them as sellouts and suddenly everything they say means less because you don't know if you can emotionally invest in it anymore. That's how shit dies out- when the source sells out and begins to turn into what they claim to be against. It'd be like discovering that Mother Teresa was secretly a nazi sympathizer.

How the hell did hipsters get associated with record players? I hear people use this to rationalize not owning one all the time and it sucks. I work at a new and used vinyl store and most people are old guys who are into classic rock, young punk rockers and middle-aged dj's. I would say jazz fans are the closest thing to hipsters that we get.
it's probably not that good.
Yea we got one for record store day and I kept it, its not amazing. I posted a little review.

This is hilarious. I can fix everything, like j said many years ago "don't buy the shit". It seems like all they gotta do is slap limited edition on a used condom and some of you would buy it then bitch about twiztid selling it. I repeat "don't buy the shit". Problem solved.

Last thing I ordered from MNE was Casket Factory. Nothing else coming out of MNE has interested me since. When something else does, I'll order it. Which at this point, would be another Blaze album, or a new album from Boondox. They can push that Lex The Hex Master all they want, I'm not a fan of the guy's flow or feel or whatever, so I'm not buying that. I'm not a fan of who Twiztid has become as of late, so I'm not particularly interested in anything they got coming, so I'm not buying that either.
