They still got AMB who seem to be growing as artists (Otis at least)

They're Hooking Bonez up with the Hav Nots. Or at least they want too, plus he's got some solo shit dropping. (Which I could imagine not getting good reception). What I can see happening is Otis getting bigger   and bigger. That is until ICP stops hyping him. Then AMB gets fed up and goes back to   Canonize. Unless J can get it together. Legz is pretty much out of the picture. Hasn't been in or done anything since his album flopped.

And where the fuck is Clay?

Good question about Clay. I didn't hear anyone say if he was at the Gathering or not. Not sure what they or Legz expected from his album, I could have told you it would flop before it came out. I don't know if AMB ever gets fed up and just straight up leave. They spent alot of years as fans before getting signed. I don't think anyone else on Psy or who has been on Psy were full on juggalos before signing the way AMB were. I can tell you Twiztid weren't, Blaze rolled with Twiztid so he wasn't either, same with ABK. Boondox I honestly have no clue, same for Hoodoo.

Clay was there. Otis said in the AMB seminar that he was. They've left before, but I don't know why. Boondox was picked up selling cassettes at an ICP show. I think. Hoodoo, no clue. His new song was the shit though.

I'd assume Hoodoo got in on the Awesome DRE connection, of whom J and Shaggs obviously have massive respect for.

I can't help but see this as Twiztid left because they didn't wanna play second place to the Clowns despite it being obvious since day one its, y'know; their label. As such, they're promising the world to folk saying they'll get more promotion, etc. But how long til Twiztid gets to that point where they're basically doing the exact same thing they got bummed out on Psy for (with them in place of ICP). Any artist owned label will be mostly focused on the artist in question. Thats always been the case, with very few exceptions. Fact of the matter is that ICP have always been the biggest draw in town, so to speak; that aint changing any time soon.

I guess the idea of moving to MNE is the lack of the juggalo tag and/or association with "the Worlds Most Hated Band". Trouble with that is, its run by the guys considered ICP's proteges and now they're signing artists who made their name on Psy with gimmicks coming from the mind of Violent J. So that hope of new found acceptance and possible respect will only go so far.

Well said and regardless of what twiztid or some juggalos think, twiztid is never going to surpass icp at their peak. Thing is, while there's many hard core juggalos who believe twiztid has more talent, there's twice as many casual juggalos who don't follow shit as closely and have only heard a handful of twiztid songs and don't have much interest in becoming that invested.

Ever notice that Madrox doing backup vocals just the same way as Violent J on Gang Rags Reborn? Look in the booklet. I believe it said that Jamie wrote a bit of the lyrics too. But I could be wrong.

Yes but they've been doing hooks on each other's albums. Gang Rags Reborn is a strong album, I'm curious to see what Boondox releases.

I remember when Sasha Doll got fired from Psychopathic Radio and did that shoot interview with reel talk radio, she said Boondox was really unhappy at the Hatchet.

She said Boonie hated how South of Hell came out. Boondox knew it was a shitty album, and felt he was letting down his fans by putting out a sub par record.

Really? Damn that sucks. South Of Hell was pretty good IMO. With Cold Day In Hell, Color You Dead, Some Kind Of Devil, Love Of My Knife, We All Fall, Nothing To Lose, Watch Your Back. Pretty decent shit. To me at least. He might not have been happy about the fake 'documentary' but overall it's pretty solid.

Yeah it has a few good songs, but I remember feeling disappointed after my first few listens. Especially compared to The Harvest and Krimson Kreek. And the included documentary had a distinct waft of cheese throughout, for sure.

My read on Boondox leaving is this-

Abbadon was his comeback album, and it flopped.Juggalos don't talk about it. ICP doesn't talk about it..

At the same time as Abbadon came out, AMB released The Garcia Brothers, which is now considered a Juggalo classic.

ICP even gave The Garcia Brothers a special re-release into Best Buy stores nationwide, months after it originally came out.

The Hatchet probably wasn't in a rush to put out a new Boondox record, since they didn't make much money on Abbadon.

So Boondox bounced.

Abaddon did not flop, it charted on the billboard top 200. (Garcia Brothers did not) In fact, a lot of juggalos talk about how Abaddon was one of his greatest in a long time. Like, two juggalos think it was 'too poppy' and three other juggalos just can't buy into the hillbilly gimmick, other than that that album has tons of praise.

The Garcia Brothers is not a juggalo classic because most juggalos still hate AMB. Half the juggalos here hate AMB and just about every juggalo I've ever met in person hates AMB. People were pleasantly surprised by Garcia Brothers, but only a few actually liked it enough to consider it a classic.

I bet they made more money off of Abaddon than Garcia Brothers.

Abaddon peaked at 122 on the Top 200.

Garcia Brothers never reached the Top 200, it peaked at 24 on US Heatseekers.

I'm 95% sure Abaddon sold more copies than Garcia Brothers.

It's a matter of opinion. I've enjoyed most of Boondox's songs. God's hand was my shit. Garcia Brothers was eh.

Fuck no.

Garcia Brothers sold out on Hatchetgear before Abaddon.

PSY actually did a second printing of The Garcia Brothers. They don't reprint very many cd's these days.

They knew Garcia Brothers would sell.

The second printing included actually putting it in stores nationwide, which they never did the first time around for Garcia Brothers.

Abbadon got nationwide distribution in retail stores right out the chute(which costs money btw), and it barely charted, like you pointed out. Twas a flop unfortunately.

Prove it. Prove that they sold more albums. And it obviously wasn't a flop if it actually charted.

Direct from Wikipedia Lucem-

"The album charted at number 122 on the Billboard 200 and number 30 on the Indie chart.Abaddon is Boondox's lowest charting album he has released thus far."

It did really shitty Lucem. Just admit it.cig_gif

I personally like both albums. I consider abbadon boondox's best and I consider Garcia Bros amb's best. Until abbadon boondox to me had been irrelevant since the harvest though. I just never really thought his style fit on psychopathic, not that it's bad, just seems out of place.

No, it did not do really shitty. But, it did do really shitty in comparison to what was expected so in that case I guess that would be considered a flop.

But, you never proved that AMB sold more albums. So Miklo 1 and Lucem 1.
