Not saying it’s good, but the “Beastie Boys type shit” you are referring to is the Rick Rubin production. Rick Rubin produced Licensed to Ill and several other hip hop classics, including The Geto Boys self titled. Attributing RRs sound to the Beastie Boys shows a basic lack of knowledge of how hip hop works and makes your opinion look ignorant. Again, not saying I like the song, because I don’t.
