I'm sorry, but I can't respect people's musical opinion that refer to Lil' Wayne as the shittiest lyricist/rapper of all time. Especially since most of them are bandwagon riding Lil' Wayne haters. Like, Lil' B is worse, ABK is worse, Souljaboy is worse, Stitches is worse.
Lil' Wayne gained his popularity because he WAS good and he was different too. He eventually started getting lazy after he got super famous and started putting out half assed material. He'd recycle and steel lines and sometimes full verses. That's why his reputation got so bad. Lately though, his verses seem to be getting much better, like he's sick of being hip hop's joke and he's ready to shut people up. But he definitely is not the worst rapper or lyricist of all time. I don't think he's even in the bottom 10. Drake. Drake is worse and lazier than him. Future too.

ive barely heard any lil waynes shit. at all.
but, one of the few songs i heard was one that mmmmbrainz basicly ordered me to listen to, and it was some dopeness. well, 'dopeness' might be a strong description, but it definitely wasnt the kinda stale shit the guy is usually accused of making.
im certain ive heard worse. very certain.

I always think of bandwagon riders as people that jump on trends with out actually thinking about it. People that only have this opinion because everybody in their lane has that opinion. Lil' Wayne hate is the biggest example. I no way do I think everybody has to love him, I'm not the hugest Wayne fan, but I don't blindly hate him and pin him up as the worst anything. I can respect what Wayne has done.

I can't say that I hate Lil Wayne because I'm not familiar with much of his music. However, his voice annoys the fuck out of me on Tech's Bass Backwards. And my brother played me this song once where he raps the alphabet. I didn't know who it was at the time but it had to be one the dumbest things I've ever heard.

The guys alright. He has his spot in history. But so does Snow. U know. Informer. He has some dope shit back in the day. The hot boyz is still dope to me. But i hate his new shit. By that i mean when he started getting out of the hood nigga famous and put on the ridiculous outfits and stupid lines like "i am forever traped in a maze there for i am amazing". But he has major talent. I like the songs i used ro get high and drunk to. 2007 - 2011. Still some cool smoking booty graben fun stuff. The guys mostly a joke tho but whatever.

Lil' Wayne is cool, I love his I Am Not A Human Being song, A Mili was cool because it was on this rap game I had, 6 Foot 7 Foot was cool as hell, that's pretty much all I heard from him since I only heard what everyone else was listening to at the time. I'll hafta get one of his albums sometime and see what's up, because I'm sure all I heard was his singles, and if they were already that cool, then I'm sure his album cuts are pretty dope as well.
He only gets hate for his voice, and rapping about pussy, but, I heard someone say that in an interview he said that that's what he likes to rap about, and if that interview was real, then cool, that's what he likes. Some people like to rap about killing people, some people like pussy, some people like just technical skill, some people just like hard shit. I like it all...mostly, I draw the line at autotune, a little bit is cool I suppose, but some people just overuse it and they ain't even really rapping, just saying words, but some of those songs are pretty hype I suppose, so that's cool.
I mean, I don't understand what this guy was saying, I hated this song at first, but after giving it an actual chance, this shit bumps.
Can't stand No Type though, by these guys, but Up Like Trump is pretty cool.
