metal in the 80s was terrible, old metallica and slayer are cool, but 90s and 2000s definetly had the best bands ever.

i strongly disagree… i dont know if its classified as metal but i prefer that classic shit like van halen & motley crew over all that new shit with no melodies…

To each their own but yes van halen and motley crue were considered glam metal but I have to disagree there is plenty of melodies in new music just gotta look for it
