First is with his production style with the speeding up vocals and that whole soulfull style of rap. Rappers didn't have to be gritty ass hardcore thugs anymore. He talked about family issues, stuff like that. Stuff you rarely found before him.

2nd was with 808s he did that "emo" (its what everybody else calls it) style talking about deep emotional issues that gave birth to a whole new style adopted by both Kid Cudi and Drake. I think even Joe Budden has adopted that style.

Listen to his new album. It sounds like nothing else in hip hop. I predict that this album might become another game changer.

lol budden's been rappin about that shit since his 2002 demo as well as his 03 debut album.. dudes always been deep & on some somber shit.. all of that shit was being done before kanye.. maybe in a way he made it more prominent in modern times but speeding up vocal samples & rappin about real shit was done way back in the 90s & probably the 80s as well...

The packaging on this album intrigues me. I love the design. I was looking it over in the local record store and I swear I almost bought it just because I liked the packaging/cover. I said almost because of course I didn't buy it. I didn't listen to it streaming when it leaked and that wouldn't have cost me anything. Gotta say though, I love that packaging.

ya i was like that too when i  was younger..fuck the mainstream fuck popular music..but now that im older i dont talk shit on it i just learned to ignore it...other people might like it why hate on it...i dont even hate on the beebs dude is rich as fuck hes doin something right..there is alot of good music that is mainstream out there im just not into hip hop music much i enjoy wicked shit and strange music and a few others..mostly into metal/rock

Kanye West and Justin Beiber? They are not even in the same league. Kanye West WRITES HIS OWN MUSIC. Just like ICP and other artists. They make art, they create things. Beiber is a performer. He plays instruments, sings and dances. He doesn't write shit. He "contributes ideas" for lyrics. That's a fucking joke. He comes off like an entitled douchebag and for what? He can sing? So can a fucking bluejay.
