It seems only those who believe in that kind of thing are even affected by such things. I absolutely do not believe in ghosts or shadow people or evil spirits so I have never seen or been affected by “them”. If it only becomes “real” by your belief in them, then they will never be real for me.

I have had people tell me of ghosts and stuff that if I saw it, I would believe since they supposedly didn’t believe in it till they witnessed such things. But when I get go to encounter whatever they supposedly saw, it magically never presents itself to me or to the other person while I am around. It just sounds too much like the mind playing tricks. Being in my mid 40s I should have experienced some supernatural something by now if it wasn’t all just over-active imagination. I even work in a place where others swear that if you are working alone you’ll witness this ghost thing. It happens every time to them but mysteriously, when I am in the same situation, it never happens.

And I won’t believe any of those Ghost Hunter or Ghost Hotel shows since in both those shows writers and/or actors have come out and said that it is not real. Just for entertainment. They have to make it sound realistic enough to keep people watching so that advertising dollars keep rolling in.

Again, Those who really don’t believe will never see them. If you think you were a non believer and happen to witness something supernatural, then you have been lying to yourself and you really did believe or wanted to believe somewhere in the back of your mind. 

My one experience with the Ouija board was me asking the name of the spirit that was around and it spelled “W I S Q A” . My friend yelled out “Oh my God! It’s my dead uncle Wisqa from beyond the grave!” I fell over laughing so hard.

I’m sorry but I just don’t believe it. And it has never been proven under real scientific inquiry. There is the Randi Million Dollar prize to anyone who can prove anything supernatural that has been out since the 70s and not one person has been able to claim the prize. 

@boston , Look up Sleep Paralysis. That is exactly what you experienced with the dark figure choking you. It is a very common occurrence and is far from supernatural.

And if you read some of the medical sites on sleep disorders. The being choked by a dark figure is very common.

children are more prone to seeing spirits, as they still have their innocence, and they don’t know any better. if your kids ever has an “imaginary friend” that they see on a daily basis, well, there ya go.

also, this chick I use to mess with has a 4 year old. the kids grandmother died before he was born, and one day he woke up and was asking his mom, the chick, questions about his grandmother, and said her name, and stuff that he had would not have known.

I believe relatives and stuff still look visit us, especially children. whoever is looking down on me, I feel sorry for them to have to see me jerkin off, and doin some weird shit. hopefully they leave when that shit starts, or I’m gonna feel awkard as fuck when I die and see them
