Well the millennium came and then the 2010s came. The 90s are in the past now.

I think the 90's was cool to but yes we get older and we get wiser and time moves on and we got to move with it. Im glad they got channels like the HUb and Teen nick cuz they play all my favorite shows i used to wacth as a kid and im glad VH1 still does the Ilove the 90's shows. I can relate stuff was so fresh back then before all the remakes and junk. Maybe i am getting old but I still dig the 90's.

Honestly music from the 90's to 03 is a tad more complex than music now. While not speaking for all music now it's a little less thought through. When listening to a Wu-Tang Forever track you can find knowledge being spoken to you, but if I hear a Wiz Khalifa song all i'm really hearing is a song about weed smoking, money or a chick. Given yes there are tracks like that in the 90's some were made for the actual hustlas and people doing the dirt not for the people portraying that in a falsified way.

You muthafuckas are goddamned right about wondering what happened to the 90's.

TO get this out of the clear beforehand….I remember older cats giving me shit back in the 90's for changing the game…AKA using influence properly….AKA growing up fucking responsibly!!!!!

BUT something didn't completely click over from the 90's to the 2000 and beyonds, that clicked with niggas from the 80's and early 90's cats.

I have to chalk this one up with the internet and hollywood subliminal nonsense.

Seriously tho…you niggas have every album at your disposal these days. I remember having to walk an hour or more through gang neighborhoods to get the newest album I wanted. It was lucky enough to get there without problems but then the real street shit kicked off….

I'd make it to wherever to get my shit….and then have to put that album in my cassette walkman on the way home. No security cameras in ANY city back in these days little boys. We lived in a completely different world than these fuckers. do nowadays and music held high magic value or just personal value over any music you hear about nowadaysz……..

You just won't understand like the rest of us do unless you grew up in this amazing time of darkness….

There is a lot of great music out there but there aren't many adventure stories around any of the albums like they used to be. People seemed to put more effort into the final product, too. Mostly killer, not so much filler.
