Got damn COVID test positive today. I was vaccinated back in April 2020, and the appointment for my booster wasn't until December 12th.
This stupid, anti Vax coughing moron, whom I only see once a week at work, transmitted it to me Monday before last. I had my mask down for just a couple minutes in our work truck, and he was only as far as the passenger seat, coughing and hacking. I literally yelled out "OMICRON!!" to him half-jokingly. He muttered that "oh no it's not COVID, etc". And here we are.
Good thing is that my og vaccines have kept me moderately healthy. Like this isn't even in the Top 20 of worst sicknesses I've ever gotten. That honor goes to erysipelas right around the time when COVID struck. I was prepared to write a will out. Thought it was all over.
Quarantine now. Til the 13th, I believe. Stay healthy, homies. And stay away from coughing idiots. Wear that mask. Get that booster asap.
I am quite miffed that regular folks weren't given earlier access to the 3rd booster, but nothing I can do about it now.

You would literally feel the exact same if you were unvaccinated. It does nothing. Well nothing to protect you from covid. It is doing harm to you in other ways. I had covid and had no symptoms other then loss of smell. It effects everyone differently most of the time it's less than the common cold. Don't believe that vaccine did a thing to help you. I had less symptoms then you and was unvaccinated.

not only am I not vaccinated I have never even once been tested for it I never wear a mask for over 10 minutes at a time and only wash my hands after I take a shit, I even pretend to sanitize my hands when I enter a grocery store.
chances are you got the covid from someone who was vaccinated not someone who was not vaccinated the vaccinated are the super spreaders.
I can prove it too if I wanted to go to a concert or see a habs game as an un-vaccinated person I would have to pay $120 to get a same-day test that says I do not have covid and I can enter the concert venue however the vaccinated people do not have to do that and it's a fact that the vaccinated can catch and transmit covid so you vaccinated morons are a threat to the un-vaccinated not the other way around.

100% got it from the unvaccinated co-worker. Of that there is no doubt.
Not "self-imposed", sweetie. My employer told me to stay home and then told me to file unemployment until I return. She is a great boss.
Despite what Maxine "Krunk" Ghislane says, all is well. And I'm eating just as healthy as ever (when I'm sober lol, which is all the time lately). Went on an awesome, snowy hike for an hour with the kids. We have been doing independent research projects on top of their few school online requirements. It's wonderful.
