although, i almost invariably pass on the car bombs.  i dont like to dilute my jameson.  its just… wrong.  

  

I agree in principal…but theres just something alluring to me about the car bomb’s sum of the parts…Its the only drink i obfusacte my whiskey with.

Quick tangent about me and Whiskey followed by an awsome car bomb story.

1:  So my coworker used to get me a bottle of Maker’s mark for my birthday every year cuz she is awesome like that.  I keep my bottles in a cabinet in my room, and would take a nice shot or four as a wind down after a long day on the job.

One night (I am told) I guess I lost track of four and in the process imbibed (once again according to the empty bottle and my laughing girlfriend) 3/4 of the bottle without a chaser before standing up.(I can drink whiskey like that but nothing else).  When I tried to get up I face planted and passed out…pissing myself in the process or possibly during my drunken snooze…Needless to say I woke up disoriented with a pounding headache and pissed soaked drawers…and that was the last time I drank whiskey in bed.

2:  My girl and I got together roughly five years ago on March 13.  We rep green in OCJ as you can tell in my signature, and Paddy’s is a big celebration in the crew as alot of us are of Irish stock.  So we were at the club house aka the van down by the river…drinking shots of Jameson straight and she wanted to hang so she got down like a classy lady.  After a few hours we saunter up to our local watering hole and find out car bombs are something ridiculously cheap.  I proceed to order about a dozen of them (one for every family member in attendance and my girl who was not yet put down).  All at once we drop our shot into the Guiness and slam the drinks.  

All of us  are full of fine irish whiskey and a couple of the young bucks immediately run to the can to puke their guts out with limited success…however while they are making the scene clamoring my girl turns pale, dry heaves and gives me her OH SHIT look.  Without missing a beat she pukes the whole car bomb back into the glass perfectly and it looks just like the genuine article just now stomach curdled…

The bar tender looked at her glass…chastised her for not drinking it fast because it curdled threw  the glass in the slop sink and gave her a new one for free…I knew I was in love at that point…

1. Not that I’m aware of.

2. Jill Tracy, Yolandi Visser (can’t tell if I like them or not yet but she’s fascinating all the same), and Snow.

3. My pet rat (Bubonic) chilling on my bookshelf while I would read. She liked the smell as much as I did. Most definitely altered my life. Rats have more emotion and complexity than most humans I’ve encountered.

4. Liquor. Order a double Gentlemen Jack neat the next time you’re drinking. You can nurse that fucker all night, get a buzz, keep your head on and feel like a goddamned sir. Best drink ever.

1. i got chlamydia once back in the day.. dont know how i forgot that the 1st time around..

2. ive gotten into a lot of female artist in the past year.. i really admire Ellie G. she has so much talent and finesse she’s like superwoman to me haha.. 3 other chicks i really enjoy are Kiesza, Grimes, & FKA Twigs (non of this is rap just amazing singing although they could do great chorus-work haha)

3. hmmm i really enjoy kickin it with kittens.. theyre cuteness is really comforting..
