Why not? Society is very imperfect. This is the same society that genuinly believes you are stupid for liking ICP.

What if it comes in cycles or mood swings like a bipolar personality change?

You still haven’t told me how you feel about it. You think letting them run around unchecked is ok?

I never said society was perfect. But the number of people that at least strive for order heavily outweigh those who feed off of chaos. So the natural order of things dictates that they slowly be weeded out.

Seriously though what do you think about it?

Sociopaths with homicidal tendencies. Not exclusively though. I’m sure theres quite a bit of people that probably should be weeded out

I don’t know. I think it’s something that’s not easy to judge. It’s easy for the skin head to hate and/or punish a black man because he’s not black. It’s easy for the general white American citizen to hate illegal mexican’s because they aren’t them. It’s easy for straight people to hate gays because they don’t have the same urges.

It’s easy to hate these social monsters such as James Holmes, Josh Powell and midgets because we aren’t them.

I guess they should seperate them from society if they want to harm society but isn’t society really trying to harm it’s self lately? Perhaps society should learn to listen first.

in that case, id say there arent enough of them to really have to weed out.  just enough to add spice to life on earth.

i say, decide on a case by case basis.  no need to take out an entire class.

I don’t really trust society’s judgements.

People who kill? Or… Sociopaths?

People who kill, I guess not.

Sociopaths, I don’t know.

I can agree with that. You and scruffy have a point I guess. If you are one and can manage to get by without killings people then I guess I don’t see the harm. I bet we have a bunch running our country as we speak actually.

I see where you come from. Who is to say we aren’t the imperfection and they are how we are meant to be.

Perhaps society raises sociopaths.

Politics are depressing. I get mad when people bitch and whine about a plan or decision being made when they don’t fully understand it because of selfish self interest but truthfully you can’t expect everybody to take the time to understand it and them bitching about self interest helps leaders make these decisions.

I expect too much from society maybe, but it seems as though society expects too much from the individual.

Perhaps we can trap sociopaths in the very same crystals used to trap light, “add” some things (DNA fun candy!) Or “take away” some things (lobotomy, you might think it very odd of meee), then release em! Only takes a minute.

That’s how I feel about it. Maybe we can fix them eventually.

@lucem They are born not made. We are more alike then you might think. I completely understand the need to take something indefensible and make an argument for it. It’s fun to play the devils advocate.

Okay so I’ve been so caught up with work, health, kids, appointments, wife, wasting time on my phone, politics, etc… I forget about that unmistakable feeling you get only when dealing with “the paranormal”.

For those of you that remember this old thread, LONG story short: I am primarily a skeptic about weird shit. However, if you read my stories, lots of shit happened that I still have no idea how to define.

That being said, I just got done reading TIME, decided to stop worrying about politics and have been getting into some of those short anonymous stories about people’s own paranormal experiences. It’s very fun reading and puts one back “there” to that world. Scary yet enthralling and even grounding in a strange way.

Anyway, I took a break to turn on my old trusty “jukebox” (an old computer I’ve had for like 15 years that cant even get internet due to lightning striking our electric in NC in approximately 2006).

I put on some random Busta and Tribe track and let it run on random from there, as is my drinking/ toking routine.

The first song the old archaic bastard chose to play on random?

“Amy’s in the Attic”.

Out of thousands of other songs.

Groovy!
