Let's start this out by saying that I don't believe demons exist. I am an atheist, and Thelemite. Yeah, I know the difference between being spiritual and being religious. I am spiritual and I am an atheistic Thelemite. The thing is that demons are an invention of religion. Angels are an invention of religion. Heaven is an invention of religion. Hell is an invention of religion. Unless you were speaking metaphorically, even if you were speaking metaphorically,  I had every reason to believe that you were religious. I never assumed that you were raised religious, in fact, I assumed you were a Christian in the same sense that I was when I was “Christian”. Yes, I used to believe in Jesus Christ, God, Lucifer and all that shit. I used to believe that good people went to Heaven and that bad people went to Hell. I never read the bible or went to church and I believed that demons were pure evil and such. Actually,  to be fair, I've always had doubts. I mean, of all the ridiculous things that the religion taught, it was the idea of demons that got to me. Is anything really ever purely evil? Dogs feel guilt, you really think that something beyond this world could be so simplistic that it doesn't even feel guilt. Guilt is a creation of self awareness. What makes the people that write about demons experts? You want me to provide an instance of demons being beneficial? Can you provide an instance of them being harmful? Can you provide an instance of people being beneficial to demons? I mean, why should they help us if all we do is hate them? Actually, can you even provide an instance that proves that demons even exist? I'm not here to pester you and call you stupid and call you wrong for believing in demons because you are not stupid and for all anybody knows you could be completely correct, like I said I never rejected the idea that they could exist. I just don't believe that they do. I'm here to make you think about this whole thing just in case you are right and they do exist. If demons exist is it really logical to believe that something that lives in a world beyond our conscientiousness isn't self aware? Is it really right to condemn something as evil and wrong when you don't even fully understand it?

I don't know, any time I try to question something like this people just dismiss me as being “blind” or “narrow minded” and I have even been accused of being “brain washed”. Some people accuse me of being an addict. Some people accuse me of being a demon. Some people accuse me of being tricked by the devil. Some people accuse me of just wanting to antagonize people. I mean, it's what ever.

I respect that pat, I do so I guess we'd just have to agree to disagree at this point.

Slum, I'm not a seeing is believing person, It just must make complete logical sense to me. I believe in black holes, I've never actually seen one. Only photographs of them. A photograph doesn't suffice as complete evidence anymore, it just needs to make sense to me.
