On Otis….
I don’t quite get why I hate him so much. Wack raps, phony vibes aside. The AMB have always embarassed me. When I play anything by a Psychopathic artist, within my self I am fearing that people notice the AMB boys and ask of them.
They embarass me. They embarass themselves.
I recently praised Otis for the production on “Flamethrower”. His choruses on the new ICP are interesting, too. Melodic, even.
But..
doesn’t he give anyone else that evil, infiltrating Yoko vibe? Like trying to change everything in thr name of his shitty, worthless moral agendas?

said it before… but i dont see lil spooky [or his anonymous and even less necessary homie] doin anything that a whopping load of juggalo rappers out there dont do. you could swap him out with em, it would be a lateral move at best, and maybe even an improvement, in some cases.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

We all see things differently, I guess. I see an average dude that is fortunate enough to be around top notch music equipment, that is mostly an embarassing nuisance in every PSY collaboration. You may see a slightly above average kid that is just so “wicked”. No one here can honestly say that Otis is a spectacular artist. Come the fuck on. Except for the frequently delusional Warlock, you just cannot say that. Compared to his homie Bonez, maybe.
I just don’t see him being anyting exeptional. His production has gotten better, but there are thousands that can do it better. Perhaps millions. There are nine billion folks on this planet, men and women, invalids, lepers, garbagemen, furries, Juggalos, Eskimos, shamans, clerks, drifters, teachers, athletes, crooks.. that if you put them in front of the same equipment and told them “try your musical talent, and tell some of your life’s story through song” and I am certain at least one billion of the nine billion would produce far more interesting, concise and good tunes.

Otis is still by far the best and most well rounded juggalo ive heard.. Violent J recently called him spectacular as well.. im sure haters like yourself and these forum rappers know more than him tho…
Please explain why you feel this way.
And I don’t profess to know more than Joe Bruce, I simply disagree with his decision. Just like introducing Marz, whom I feel is more talented than Otis, despite his religious handicaps.
I AM a hater. I have more hate in my heart than love, usually. It is unfortunate, but at least I am honest.
Marz never proved himself to be loyal, or none of that.
AMB had a goal. They were fan boys. They got lucky. Put out a not so good album. Left, Came back, put out a few better ones. Left, and came back ALOT better.
I can say they earned the spot on the lable, working backstage, dressing up in clown costumes, and being the lable interns.
Blaze did the same.
I think people just compare them to Twiztid, or are reminded of too much, and write them off. They are getting better, and apparently J sees something in them to let him produce songs on a Jokers Card… or maybe he can just pay him less.
I just stay FARRRR away from their Pre Psy stuff, and their first Psy album.
I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!

have you heard the new stuff?? his flow is undeniable, lyrically hes surpassed most of the psy roster before signing.. his production/beats are subjective but pretty catchy to me.. amb have the best pre-psy discog over just about everyone besides esham imo.. ive just yet to hear any ninja come close.. please explain how generic ass marz has any talent, asides from his lotus pod contributions his solo shit is mind-numbingly basic..

Native Funk “Rain From the Sun” is better to me than much of ABK’s PSY stuff.
I also said I DISagreed with the introduction of Marz. Despite that, “Lung Fu Mo She” industrial hip hop was more interesting than any raps I have heard from Otis. I dig neither artist much at all, but would choose the former over the latter for entertainment. At least that first strange album.
Also, I have seen both artists live. Marz was far more entertaining. AMB never have kept my attention. Granted, the Marz show at the 2001 GOTJ had a row of like twenty topless girls in the back for eye candy, but I stand by this statement.
….
….
I am arguing Marz vs Otis…. with the Warlock… this is not my best day.

i like that album a lot but would prolly only put it above Mudface
i dont remember if i listened to that marz album or not but the stuff they had of his on the 2001 sampler was hella trash.. then again thats not my style.. ive heard several things hes put out since leaving which has been more traditional sounding hip hop and ive yet to be impressed.. at all..

Can we at least all agree that AMB is pretty much done? Maybe one more album will come out but that’s about it. Beyond that, Young Wicked will be around for sure but as a group, Bonez is done with Psychopathic very soon. The dude went from wearing sunglasses and spelling his name every verse to not wearing sunglasses and spelling his name in every verse. That is not good progress as an artist.
I can’t stand AMB/Otis. Never could and probably never will. Rapping about killing haters with an ax for da fam, whoop whoop! is pathetic. There’s no excuse for such a lack of creativity. Especially if have a full studio and a whole list of artists you can choose from, all within arms reach. BUT, Otis has gotten better over time. Admittedly, all he’s done is learn how to chop, which isn’t much to brag about, but it’s something. Which is more than either of those borderline parodies of Juggalos were ever able to contribute to Psychopathic before.
