Yeah so, this just happened. 

A friend of mine just got kicked out of his school after a few people told one of the staff that he sexually assaulted them. 

Let me make this clear, there is NO way that this happened. 

Obviously my word has no place in court, but I don’t care about court in this case, I don’t even know if he’s gonna have to go to court, but moreover, well, it didn’t happen, there’s no proof.

But anyways, the reason I know that it didn’t happen, is because I know the guy. 

Here is the list of reasons that I know for a fact he didn’t do it: 

1. He couldn’t assault someone if they literally stood there and let him. He has no aggression, and shit tons of anxiety. I literally can’t yell around him, if I yell he’ll freak the fuck out. How the fuck is someone who can’t handle being yelled at finna assault someone? 

(and also, like fucking everyone that I’ve been friends with for the last year ‘aside from at work’, he’s a trans guy, and not physically fit, he doesn’t have a strength advantage over anyone)

2. I have SEEN his pure hatred for sex offenders, that shit wasn’t fake. 

3. Nobody would be friends with me and do that, he knows well and good that I would go berserk on him if I ever saw proof it happened. I mean like, ya’ll have heard the crazy shit I spew, and I happen to know he has been genuinely afraid of me in the past. If you were afraid of someone who would break every bone in your body if you sexually assaulted someone, would you keep them as a friend? 

4. Out of ALL of those people, not a SINGLE one has proof of any kind? Nobody saw any of it? I mean, school started not too long ago for them, it’s not like he had time to wait until the right moment. 

There’s other things too, but you get the idea, he is just not someone who would, or even can, do this.

I would like to reiterate, I am not saying that the claim should not be taken seriously just because of my word, nothing should ever not be taken seriously because of someone’s word. 

But, you guys aren’t the court, so before you fling shit at me about how that’s not proof he didn’t do it, I’m not a fucking Lawyer and you’re not on that fucking jury, I just know that it didn’t happen. Just like how I know that one of my other friends did have that happen to them, even though my word wouldn’t do anything in a court.

Okay, so, yeah, I just downed a shit ton of anxiety meds to stop the sheer incredible anger. 

To me, lying about being sexually assaulted, is just as bad as actually sexually assaulting someone.

It ruins people’s lives, and it makes life harder for actual victims, it’s like crying wolf, except you weren’t the one that cried wolf, it was someone else, but you get to suffer for it.

It is a disgusting insult to every actual victim, and when it comes to full on false rape allegations, I hope the fucker dies, I want rapists to die too, but that little bitch is on the same level to me. 

And the sad thing is that nobody will ever believe his side of the story.

Nobody ever does.

It’s guilty until proven innocent when it comes to this. 

It’s so hardcore guilty until proven innocent when it comes to this that some mother fuckers LITERALLY want it to legally be guilty until proven innocent. 

I’m guessing you already know about that, the whole #believewomen 

I agree with some of the sentiments of that group, but so much of it was so unbelievably destructive. 

Okay so, if someone comes forward as a rape or sexual assault victim, you should treat them as if they have been assaulted or raped. 

BUT, unless you personally have NO reason to doubt the accuser, you should not treat the accused as if they definitely did it. 

To give a few examples, lets pretend you’re a student at his school, and you are a friendly acquaintance with him, you should neither treat the accusers as liars, nor should you treat the accused as a perpetrator. You should be conscious around the accusers, you should be comforting. But that doesn’t mean you turn on him, distancing yourself from him is normal, but you should not treat him as if he actually did it. 

Meanwhile, on the flip, if you “know” that it happened, in other words if you know the accuser and the situation well enough to have no doubts, than you should treat it as fact, it’s equally unreasonable to deny logic in the accused’s favor as it is to deny logic in the accuser’s favor. 

But that is NOT what happens, ANY doubt that people have is immediately thrown out of the door in favor of believing the victim. And people who have no reason to doubt the accused as being innocent, usually keep their mouths shut and still abandon them, because if they don’t, they’ll get the same treatment the accused is getting. 

Moreover, if EVER it is proven that someone lied, you should turn on them like nobody’s fucking business. I already told you how I’d react if I found out someone was lying about it, I’d go from doing everything I can to help them, to breaking their legs in a mother fucking heartbeat. 

But that’s also not what happens, if someone is revealed as a liar, everyone who defended them refuses to believe blatant actual evidence.

This isn’t just a problem with sexual assault allegations, this is just a problem with everyone fucking ever. Sticking to the shit they believed even if it was objectively false. But it’s even worse here.

I knew someone before who told me the story of how they were falsely accused, keep in mind, he just told me this story in the past tense, he had NOTHING to gain by telling me this. And I believed him, he had no reason to lie to me. And he told me bout how his life was fucking ruined, and he had to move to Arizona to escape it all. 

And now I’m seeing it happen irl for the first time. 

I’m beyond pissed. 

I just had to tell this story because because people like to pretend that this never happens, and that’s sheer complete bullshit. 

He’s already been kicked out of that school, I am 90% sure that if he even does go to court, he won’t be convinced, they have negative fucking proof, but his life has ALREADY been fucked up, no court needed for him to get kicked the fuck out of the school he put shit tons of effort into getting into. 

Even if we could prove that the accuser’s were lying, not even if they can’t prove that he did it, even if we can prove they were lying, I assure you he will not be allowed to go back to that school. That’s the power a false allegation has, they say it and you’re fucked. 

Fuck the world man, fuck people’s inability to be fair and logical. And fuck those piece of shit liars.
