Side note, did you ever get to see @cheshyr ‘s little endless tattoo?
You mean, “Li’l Endless”. The way you wrote it makes it out to be a small tattoo and it’s kinda my whole right forearm, haha (just dickin’)
Ummm…. I guess I missed this thread. Only came up from Noah’s tag… I think I’m gonna sit this one out though, heh. If you guys think I can get out of hand on some nerd shit, just get me started on something I had tattooed on my body!
But a few points: Destruction ABANDONED his realm and essentially QUIT out of disgust. Delirium was not always Delirium, she was Delight. Something happened to her… but she doesn’t like to talk about that. Despair does not create despair (like a cenobite or something) she nurtures and crafts it. As she is the twin sister of Desire, she is the personification of “wallowing in misery”. Destiny does not serve as an agent of change but the keeper of all existence. He knows the beginning and end of everything from the birth of gods to the end of time (including his own) and keeps all being on an unknowable path only he can navigate. Death is the only one who seems content with herself and her existence. There is no malice in her role. She performs her function knowing that she too answers to a higher power. As the story says, she will be the last of them to turn out the light when they leave…
Not sure what to add to this but if I was to take a stab off the top of my head, I’d recommend “Suicide Hotline” as a valid reference to Despair’s deal… heh. That twin sister thing I mentioned… at first all suicidal and then Desire takes over as soon as some weed and pussy gets introduced into the mix… Maybe then Delirium and then Dream do some shit too.

I just wanted to add a little bit to the best rappers discussion. Despite his simple lyrics, when J goes all in there is nobody else that can come close for me. It’s not a technical thing either.
What I mean by that is the power in his voice. Songs like Marsh Lagoon and his verse on Sex Drugs Money Murder remix. It literally wells up aggression inside me. You can feel that shit.
I wish he did that more often.

I like his aggression on “Get Ready” with Twiztid. “Don’t flip me off at a stop light and think it’s okay, mother fucker no way…” you just know he’s getting in touch with something that happened before.
“Leff Field”
“Some Fuckin’ How”
“Everyone”
He has some ill shit.
